This is a very good cookie for those who like a lot of maraschino cherries and raisins. I put a handful of Ghiradelli bittersweet chips into the last two batches, and that's how my husband and I decided we liked them best...tastes like chocolate covered cherries. Our son prefers them without the chocolate chips. Thanks for sharing this recipe, it is very good.

THESE WERE A HIT ON OUR CHIRSTMAS COOKIE PLATTERS THAT WE MAKE IN OUR CHURCH FOR THE WOMENS FESTIVAL. I MADE THEM WITH A 2 tsp. SCOUP AND MADE SOME LARGER COOKIES FOR OUR OWN HOUSEHOLD. I THOUGHT THE SINGLE RECIPE MADE A LOT OF "DROPS" Have had several requests for the recipe so thanks for a "PRETTY GOOD COOKIE"
