Not bad. Great comfort food of course. The beans ended up looking more like refried beans than soup. Some of the beans remained intact but I would have preferred it with more liquid. The really great thing about this recipe is that onions almost disappeared which is AWESOME in my book because I hate them anyway. The gizzards came out really tender as well. I added a small green pepper as well. It just did not have a lot of flavor. Probably won't make it again, but I enjoyed making it. Thank-you
