Thought this was a different recipe when I went to rate it and now I can't get rid of the stars. It looks good though. :)
It is pretty good but a little awkward. There are some recipes that are much better that you could make instead. I would definitely recommend puppy chow over this.
the taste it is not good.
Sorry, didn't realize how difficult it would be to eat. The coconut didn't stick to the mix.....was it supposed to? Had a very DRY outcome and not outstanding flavor. I won't be making this one again.
I agree that this is an awkward recipe. High maintenance might be more like it. I used high quality cinnamon, but didn't taste the flavor in the finished product. I think there are easier recipes with better results. Taste was okay and I know it will get eaten. Wouldn't say it tasted like Mexican hot chocolate at all.
Easy to make! I made two batches; one that followed recipe exactly, the second batch I used peppermint flavored marshmallows instead of regular. Next time I will try milk chocolate instead of semi sweet morsels. Both were good but my favorite is with the peppermint 'mallows.
