I'll give this one 3 stars because half the family liked it while the other half didn't. It tasted really sweet to me. I'm assuming because of the creamed corn. I had a ton of rice left from another recipe that we didn't care for, so I added it to the chowder to make it a little thicker. That helped some. If I make again, I think I'll just use regular corn.

I thought this recipe was great!! I did change a few things (used evaporated milk, more corn, spicy diced tomatoes). It was great this way, so I'm sure the original recipe is even better!!!

This is a really good soup, but I did use whole milk instead of half & half to make it less fattening. I also forgot to add the hot sauce & I didn't miss it. It seems like there is a lot of chicken in the soup. Next time I think I will only use one pound of chicken & add a cup of frozen corn along with the can of creamed corn. I may also add some dried cilantro during cooking rather than adding fresh at the end as a garnish.

delish! I made this exactly as recipe the first time and everyone loved it-I have since made it with turkey breast and omitted the hot sauce but used pepperjack and added peas and an extra can of corn(not cream style). I have taken it to two pot lucks with fantastic results.

I can't believe that I made something that tasted this good. I made just as the recipe directed except with a can of tomatoes and a can of chiles, and sauted in olive oil instead of butter. Just great! I will definitely make again, my husband loved it too! Best recipe I've found on allrecipes.

This was very good! I took the advice of others and omitted the tomato&the can of green chiles and substituted it with a can of Rotel.I also put four cloves of garlic in it(we love garlic). I added extra cumin, put some old bay seasoning in it along with some salt & pepper. It made it very flavorful. It didn't have enough flavor before adding the extras.I also used a pre cooked chicken from Walmart to save time.I will make this again.

This was very good, I'll make it again. I added rice to soak up some liquid and make it thicker. It needs a little something more, maybe some more spice? Scallions on top would also be good, or maybe pico de gallo. All in all, very tasty and hearty meal for the winter!

This was a great recipe. Very easy. I did use the rotelle tomatoes and it gave it an awsome flavor. I also shredded my chicken.

Man, I am eating this right now and it is awesome! I used precooked chicken from Walmart and added an extra can of corn. I also used Chipotle hot sauce. Excellent recipe, I would make this again for sure!

This was good. I followed some of suggestions and a can of rotel. I also added a second can of creamed corn. Next time I'll add a little more garlic and cumin to make up for the extra corn. This will be a great new soup recipe to make this winter!

I made this for a dinner for a friend. We all really liked it. I substituted the green chiles & tomato with Pace Medium Picante. I also added a can of corn. I used the suggestion of using Rotisserie Chicken from Sams...it was delicious!

Made a couple of substitutions...a can of diced tomatoes & chilies (omitted can of green chilies and chopped tomato) and used whole kernel corn instead of cream-style corn. Great dinner, quick to assemble.

This was very good and easy. I didn't have green chiles but I used shredded Mexican cheese with jalapenos. It added just the right kick without making it too spicy for the kids. Next time, I'll use a little less butter.

I've had better chicken/corn chowder soups. This one was a little bland - and I added more bouillon and cumin then the recipe called for. Don't think I would make it again. The taste is not worth the calories.
