It was "melt-in-your-mouth" however, I did not care for the consistancy of it. I'm anxious to try it sliced thin and made into a sandwich. My husband said it wasn't bad, but I didn't think it had much taste. I even added a jalepeno pepper to the meat. Not a bad recipe if you have children since it was rather plain.

Fantastic!! I only did half of the brown sugar in the sauce and added a bit of smashed garlic to the meat mixture. It was AMAZING!! My husband doesn't really care for meatloaf and not only did he finish his plate, it was his late night snack also! This even beats out mom's!

I like the idea of cooking meatloaf in the crockpot, but this didn't work for me. The glaze was way too sweet for my personal taste and the meat itself was a bit dry. I'll stick with my old recipe from here on out. But thank you!

My husband isn't much of a beef person, but he went for seconds on this meatloaf and thought it was awesome. I changed my method of cooking though. I made it into an actual long loaf and popped it in the oven at 375 for 1 hour, then another 15 minutes with the ketchup topping. It was still tender and juicy with a nice glaze of juices (I used 80/20 ground beef), and didn't take over 5 hours to make!

I would have given this 5 stars, but my hubby requested "my" meatloaf,(which comes straight from the back of the Liptons Beefy Onion soup mix box) a few days later. I thought it was great. The sauce was sooo good! I made it just as the recipe states.

It was just okay for us. It was moist, but I found the texture off putting. However the cooking method was great. I wii try this one more time, perhaps substituting fresh bread crumbs or crushed saltines. I definitely think it has potential.

This is the first time that I ever made a meatloaf in the crockpot. Itt turned out rather delicious. I was worried at first when the instructions stated to place the meatloaf in the crockpot and then turn it on. I wondered how it would cook with no liquid but it cooked with its own juices. We had it for two nights in a row. Last night we ate it in a sandwich because we returned home rather late after a busy day but tonight we ate it with mashed potatoes and creamed corn. Boy was it ever good. I will most definitely make it again. Thanks for the recipe Suzanne. I also made two changes instead of dry minced onions I chopped a half an onion and I also chopped a 1/4 cup of green pepper. Very good!

My family and I think this recipe is delicious and a keeper! The meatloaf was very moist. I only used 1 tablespoon of brown sugar. Instead of using all beef I used a meat mixture of beef, pork and veal. I also cooked it in a loaf pan in the oven instead of the crockpot. It was great!!

This recipe was good but appearance not so appetizing but moist,so for the sake of the kids, placed in oven 10 min after cook time with the topping,I didn't have dry bread crumbs so I used 2 slices of white bread broken up to small pieces, soaked in the milk.very good I will make again, thank you

It was over 90 degrees outside, too hot to cook. So, I tried this recipe. Used ground turkey and added chopped onion & peppers. Put in crockpot on high for 4 hours. Didn't look pretty but it tasted fabulous! My boyfriend enjoyed it. Will make again.

I think this meat loaf was a bit bland, but super moist. Next time I make it I would add garlic and put the sauce inside as well as on top to give it some flavor

I made this using ground Turkey. In light of the people complaining about not being much flavor in the meat, I increased the spices. In addition to the sage, I added an equal amount of Herbs de Provence. I was really happy with the flavor. A couple observations: The sauce really did come out too sweet as mentioned by several reviewers. Next time, I'll use much less brown sugar, if any at all. Also if you plan to use ground turkey for this as I did (to cut calories) I don't recommend the Crock Pot method. I recommend baking in the oven in as large a roasting pan as you can find. So much liquid cooked out of the turkey, the meatloaf was completely submerged in the pot. Also, the liquid had this really unplease looking layer of white goop on top. It didn't affect the flavor, it just looked aesthetically bad. I had to skim off the white stuff and suck out about half the liquid using a turkey baster before the step where you add the sauce. The meatloaf did come out really good though, and it was even better on Day 2.

This was one of the best meatloaf recipes I've tried. I cooked it in a loaf pan in the the oven instead of the slow cooker. But other than that I followed the recipe exactly. Turned out very moist and the sauce was really yummy!
