Not that there's anything wrong with just putting some fresh fruit on your breakfast plate, but this is so much more creative and so worth taking the extra step to puree the raspberries into a sauce. I had some huckleberry honey I've been dying to use and this was perfect for it. I didn't add the ginger since I don't care for it much and because I didn't want to take away from the fresh raspberry flavor. Honeydew isn't always terribly sweet or flavorful, so I used a medley of the cantaloupe along with watermelon and mango. Wonderfully refreshing and a beautiful presentation. And as for taste? That sauce with the fruit is excellent! What a great idea to basically top fruit with more fruit! Hubs and I both really enjoyed this. This will also make an awesome good dessert tonight with a scoop of ice cream!

I really enjoy the simplicity of this recipe. I used strawberries instead of raspberries and it tasted heavenly!!! A winner!!!

I just used the sauce and it was very good! It was a bit tart but it contrasted well with the meal! Thanks!
