This is great - I'd never made homemade granola before and this was super easy and really tasty. I've been eating it like cereal and it is very satisfying.

This is wonderful. We highly recommend it. In case anyone out there does Weight Watchers, we figured that the amount that fits in a 2 ounce cup has 1 W.W. point.

delicious!!! the recipe is great. i usually just use what i have on hand - milled flax seed instead of oat bran, no sunflower seeds if i don't have them, etc. it's fun and super easy to make. my roommates all love it! I've made it twice now, and we all share the outcome. i will definitely keep making this. One note: I have just been making a HALF recipe, because the one noted calls for so many ingredients. this was plenty!!

My husband is CRAZY about this granola. He does not eat breakfast unless it's available. I followed the recipe except have used half applesauce/half oil and that works fine. Also added coconut which I personally feel takes it from 'good' to 'great'. Also read the review from the author who stated they changed the recipe and she uses 1 T. cinnamon and vanilla and it is MUCH better with the extra. Be careful not to overcook and you will love this one!

This is exceptional. I have made it many times and shared. Everyone always likes it. Each time I make is different. The modification of 1 tablespoon of vanilla and cinnamon (instead of teaspoon) makes this even better. Thank you for the recipe.

I cut the recipe in half, as the original makes quite a bit. I followed the recipe exactly with one exception- I added about 1/4 c. of milled flax seed for health benefits. Oh, it took a bit longer than 20 minutes in my oven to get nice and toasted. This is great with vanilla yogurt!

This was my first time making Granola. It was excellent! I used 1Tbsp Vanilla and cinnamon as one of the reviews said there was an error.I baked at 300 for 40-45 min.I only wished it was a little chunkier. Maybe letting it cool before stirring? Definitley try this one!

My friend used to make granola from memory. After she moved I had to find my own recipe. This one is great! I only add walnuts, and a variety of dried fruits(raisins, chopped apricots, apples, coconut, and broken up banana chips for extra crunch. I also baked it at 300 degrees.

This is a wonderful granola recipe! I've tried it with and without raisins and with the addition of coconut. It tastes fabulous each way. I may never try another granola recipe because this one is so good. I bake it at a slightly lower temperature - 300 degrees. Other than that, I make no changes to the original recipe.

This recipe is GREAT! So simple, and very easy to do. It was my first time to make granola, and this recipe is a "keeper"! I did make a few changes - used 1-1/2 C. flax seed meal instead of the wheat germ and oat bran, used 3 C. salted mixed nuts, and cut down on the amount of salt added. Because I like a stronger vanilla flavor, I used 2 tsp. instead of 1. Baked it at 300 degrees for 30-40 min. It is more crispy if you use extra cookie sheets, and spread it really thin. YUM!!

This is so fabulous! since I dont personally dont like raisin, so I used dried apricot instead and I also substituted walnut with Brazil Nut. To my personal taste, I love it to be more sweeter so I added extra 4 tbs of brown sugar. Nice crunchy texture and a goodie which is guilty-free to eat.

This was a great and easy recipe. I love the nutritional value of the whole grains. This made a HUGE amount of granola, which I love! I would offer a couple of suggestions: First, stir in the vanilla to the syrup after it has come to a boil. Remember to take it off the heat and be careful of any splatter from the alcohol cooking off. This will help retain that yummy vanilla flavor. Second: Add the Cinnamon to the dry ingredients instead of the syrup. Don't be afraid to mix everything up in an oversized bowl with your hands before the hot syrup goes in, a great way to involve the kids in the kitchen . . . I used my 12 qt. stock pot. I love this on yogurt, as a cereal, or in cookies! It was so easy and forgiving. I also added shredded coconut for texture and flavor. Thanks for a great recipe!

The mixture of honey, syrup and brown sugar was perfect for the amount of dry ingredients. Just the right sweetness for my taste. I was concerned that it was such a large quantity that it would not be sufficiently dry when stored in an air tight container. I baked it 10 minutes longer than recipe called for and it was wonderfully toasty. I think I will take one of trays out at 20 minutes next time just to see the difference. I used different types of nuts that I had in the freezer and also a variety of dried fruits. I think you can be very creative with those ingredients. I also added double the amount of cinnamon and vanilla. This will be my preferred granola recipe from now on. Thanks.

This stuff is amazing. I mean, I made all 30 servings and ate 1/3 and gave the other 2/3 away in one week because it was so good I wanted to share w/everyone. I left out the raisins/cranberries b/c I don't like them, but used sugar free maple syrup, organic oat bran & wheat germ, etc, and it didn't sacrifice any of the taste. A friend I gave some to asked me if it was loaded with butter and I had to break the news to her that it was completely guiltless.

I love this stuff! Have made it several times now. The last time I used regular rolled oats and not the quick cooking. Much better texture. Also increased the maple syrup to 1/2 cup, honey to 1 cup and brown sugar to 3/4 cup. (Ok, so I like it a little sweeter!) Also used dried cherries for the fruit. This was the best batch ever.
