This was easy to make - and is quite tasty - I left out the brown sugar, but will add it next time. I may leave out the almonds next time as I don't like that many nuts in the granola - but we are eating it every day. I sprinkle mine in with yogurt for breakfast on the run.

My husband is not fussy nor very complimentary but he put this mix on his lap and ate..and ate. He said if I want him to be healthy to make this. We both love it. Great job, Megan

Love it! I make it every week now as a staple to our day. Whatever we have on hand as far as nuts and dried fruit I will use and everything else stays the same. My family of six loves this granola. Thank you!

This is Fantastic. We use is all the time now and won't consider buying box granola ever again. The recipe works great as is, but we add whatever dried fruit on hand (apricots, blueberries) and I have found flavored honey adds a nice twist. Enjoy!

Excellent! Wonderful nutty flavor with a great crunch! I wouldn't recommend decreasing or subbing out the oil if you like it crunchy. I've tried it with other granola recipes & it doesn't work so well. So far everyone who has tried it really likes it! Thank you!

Give it a try. I did it with flax seed, almonds, cashews and a dash of peanuts and it was good. Just be sure to not overcook it.

You can make this as simple or complex as you want! I simplify it by just using honey, olive oil, a little water, salt, and then the mix-ins.

Super easy and super delicious. I had a hard time waiting for it to cool down enough to eat! I found half of this recipe plenty for me. I made one change: while the syrup was heating up, I put 1C of flaked coconut into the pan the granola was going to bake in, and toasted that in the oven for about 4 minutes. Then I put that back in with the dry ingredients, and put the syrup over everything. It turned out to be a nice addition. One tip: use a really big bowl to mix everything!

The great thing about this recipe is that it is so versatile and you can add and omit anything that you want! I decided to take out the sunflower seeds and add more pecans, almonds and rolled oats. I didn't want to add any maple syrup and instead added more honey and it tasted great. I preferred to bake it longer on each side, about 12 minutes, so the nuts were toasted a little bit. I added cranberries in the beginning with the rest of the dry ingredients and it turned out fine. Instead of having to mix in the middle of the baking time, I took a pan out of the oven, placed parchment paper on top, then placed a cookie pan on top and flipped the whole thing so the granola was flipped and I wouldn't have to stir - it worked out great but make sure you have a good grip of both pans or else granola goes flying! Have fun with this recipe and remember, you can't go wrong with the ingredients!

Great recipe. Totally versatile. I love the nutty, toastiness of it. I'm definitely making it again and adding chocolate chips. It only makes sense to try it!

this is one of my favorites. Some things I do differently. Use flax seed instead of wheat germ. I don't use sunflower seeds nor maple syrup. 20 minutes may not seem like enough time, but when it cools it is crisper. This has become a favorite breakfast cereal for us. So much healthier and less expensive than store bought granola.

This is the best granola I have ever made or eaten. My husband and I love it. I won't try any others now. I have found my favorite. I used Splenda brown sugar and sugar free syrup. You won't be disappointed you made this.

We love this receipe. Only change is that we bake it for an hour @ 250 degrees stirring every 15 minutes. Turns out perfect. Delicious in yogurt!

I'm so gad I found this recipe! I was using a different one on the site and I didn't realize how "not great" it was until I tried this. However, I did substitute apple sauce for the oil...and saved about 2,000 calories. Still tasted great!
