I LIKE THE IDEA OF THIS RECIPE. I USED BONELESS CHICKEN BREASTS INSTEAD OF LEGS AND A BAKED THEM A LITTLE TOO LONG SO THE CHICKEN WAS DRY. NEXT TIME I WILL KEEP A BETTER EYE ON MY CHICKEN. THE TASTE OF THE MARINADE WAS GOOD THO.

It was easy to make and my husband and daughter loved it. I used two lemons and 2 tablespoons of olive oil instead of one.

My family felt that it was too lemony... next time I will reduce the zest/juice for our family.

I was a little disappointed with this recipe. I followed the instructions perfectly but found it to be quite bland. It was easy to make but definitely not a favourite.

Make sure you continuously add water to it, it will dry out very fast! Other than that it's a great recipe. Try serving it with sauteed zuchini and yellow squash with some lemon pepper seasoning sprinkled on it.

My husband loved it. I used a whole cut up chicken and I think using just the legs and thighs would have been best. They turned out better than the breast and back.

Very very good. I marinaded 4 sliced-up chicken breasts in the lemon/herb/oil/s & p combo all day. As a result, the meal was intensely lemony. The next time I make it, I'll probably marinade for 1 or 2 hours max. I love lemon, but it was slightly too much even for me. I served it over angel hair pasta. Delicious. Thanks for a great recipe, Leah!

I marinated the chicken for a couple hours, and like other reviewers, loved the flavor, but wished I had a little more of the yummy juice to spoon over my chicken and rice. I will AT LEAST double the marinade ingredients next time!

This chiken was good following the advice of other reviewers. I double everything except for the oregano believe me you do not want to double the oregano, cooked covered expect for last 10 min.; and it turned out good. But don't expect it to be terrific it's not. Just someting that quick and easy to make every now and then that will satisfy you.

Excellent - even my finicky 6 & 8 year olds loved it and asked for more. The lemon and garlic are a perfect marriage of flavors. I marinated the legs for about 2 hours prior to cooking. The only bad think was there weren't more pan juices to use for gravy after baking - yum! I'll increase quanitiy of the marinade ingredients next time. Thanks so much for sharing this.

This is has become my favorite weekly chicken recipe...I think it is delicious. I modified it to chicken breasts and only cook about 15 minutes covered, then reduce the temp to 350 & bake another 15 minutes uncovered. I also double the marinade and after cooking, it makes an incredible "gravy" that I drizzle over rice and/or steamed veggies.

This was juicy and packed with flavor! I mixed the marinade in a measuring cup, dipped (and rotated) the chicken in it and then spooned the rest of it over the chicken once it was in the baking pan. I thought it went great with rice. Delicious!

I'm giving it 3 stars to be generous. I must have done something terribly wrong. Neither one of us liked this one. It was dry on the inside and soggy on the outside. We'll not be trying this again.

I have made this several times, but use chicken breasts only, cooking for about 30 min. at 375. I also use a bit more salt, but then - I add salt to ramen noodles...so I think I just like salt more than the next person. Additinally, to keep the chicken moist, I slice up the lemon after squeezing it, and place the slices over the meat while it cooks. My husband and I love this recipe - simple tastes, and healthy.

I really enjoyed this recipe. I marinated mine for several hours and that really helped give it an extra kick. I also doubled the recipe so I would have extra sauce. My husband and 23 month old both gobbled it up and asked for more.
