This was a hit. My six year old asked for the leftovers for breakfast the next morning. I substituted ground turkey and served this with parm. cheese and a salad. Yummy and healthy.

Love this recipe. I have made this for parties and it's always a huge hit. No matter how much I make it's gone. I change up the noodles for texture but that's it.

I used a pound of pork sausage and added parmesan cheese at the end. The diced tomatoes I used an italian blend and it came out great.

I'll admit I changed this a bit to use up some left overs. What I did was use cubed left over pork tenderloin, cooked white rice instead of pasta and then get this- sauerkaut, yes sauerkraut. I added another can of tomato sauce half way through cooking time as the rice thickened it up. It was tasty and I was proud that I used up all of my left overs. My kids didn't like it so much. Guess I can't sneak in the sauerkraut nexst time. I served it with shredded cheddar cheese over top. It's a healthy recipe. I'll make it again but keep out the kraut!

This turned out well. I used all italian turkey sausage, added some corn, italian seasonings and more pasta. The meal was hearty and healthy. I only cooked it for four hours on high. It thickened up nicely on it's own. I would make it again.

This was great! I did the suggested alterations by the last reviewer. I especially like this recipe because you can change up the ingredients. The first time we used chicken and the second time ground turkey. I think next time I'll try using beef bouillion cubes just to see what it's like. We also added mushrooms and canned tomatoes w/ oregano & basil. It was a bit salty for my taste as well. I might try using only 1 bouillion cube.

I made this on the stove top since I was short on time. I did everything as stated in the recipe except I used 2 cups of pasta. I cooked it on medium high, brought it to a boil, added the pasta, cooked it for about 15 minutes until the pasta was done. It was not a soup by then, more of a pasta dish w/ a red sauce, which we ate with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. We all liked it, excpet we all agreed it was a bit salty. I would suggest cutting back on the salt, and adding more if needed after a few taste tests. I WILL be making this again, on the stove top and also in my Crock Pot. Great with a green salad and crusty french bread! Thankyou
