I have never understood why meatloaf tends to get a bad rap. My family just loves it and, now that I have tried this recipe, we will have it even more than ever! I actually signed up as a member just so I could write this review (and I've tried MANY recipes on this site & never had the urge to). Of course, my family can't have meatloaf without a sauce on top so I added my signature blend with 10 minutes cooking time left. In case you're interested...1/2 cup ketchup, 1/2 teaspoon bbq sauce, 1/2 tsp brown sugar, & 1/4 tsp worschestishire sauce. I make enough to have a little leftover because my husband likes to add more after it is served!

i can't speak for this recipe since i am a tube feeding cancer survivor, but my husband (quite the food critic) said it is delicious, though it doesn't taste like the meatloaf he's used to. he truly enjoyed it. thanks for a great recipe. i'll be using it again.

I followed the recipe and it turned out perfectly. This is now my favourite meat loaf recipe. It's easy to whip up and paired it with a tossed salad.

I didn't follow this recipe to the letter since I didn't have all the ingredients. However, I added shredded cheddar, some seasonings (onion flakes, garlic seasoning), mushrooms, italian bread crumbs and I used the entire packet of ranch seasoning. I'm not usually a fan of meatloaf but I thought this was good and my 5yr old enjoyed it as well. Mine did turn out a little greasy but was ok. Even with all the additions, it really didn't taste much different than any other meatloaf per my husband.

i never knew people could get so excited about meatloaf night until i tried this recipe. i customized mine a bit by adding chopped onion, green pepper, and chili pepper. i also used the suggestion from this page and mixed heinz 57 with ketsup both in the mix and glazed on top. i could live on this stuff.

I do not like meatloaf. Therefore I never ever made it for my fiancee (it's one of his favorites). He had been having a hard time at work so to cheer him up one day I decided to make it. We both loved it!! This is the only meatloaf I like. Fiancee begs me to make it. I followed the directions exactly except I omitted the bacon.

This meatloaf is soooo good! I made one on Friday, and it was so good that I made another one on Monday. The second one I doubled the recipe; it was wonderful! My husband, grandson and daughter absolutely loved it.

This is a great, simple meatloaf to make. I don't even normally like meatloaf, but I tried recipe for my husband, and it was fabulous. Highly recommended, even for picky eaters.

Best meatloaf I have ever made. Husband loved it and 2 year old son liked it. I used the whole pack of ranch dressing. made a glaze of bbq sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, and wosterschier. Sprinkled a few FF-onions on top about 10 minutes before pulling it out of the over. The glaze made this meatloaf even more delicious!

i put the leftovers in some tupperware for my husband and went to bed as he watched T.V. When i woke up for work, the left overs were gone! I will have to make a bigger helping next time.
