Bravo for a fantastic easy-to-make weeknight meal! I used the majority of the ingredients, but I added in: sliced bell peppers, lettuce and shredded parmesan cheese. This was really easy to make and my bf loved it, too! A+!

My husband, who normally does not like meatballs, said these were great. He raved over this meal.

This recipe makes phenomenal meatballs, although I skip a huge step and just buy Classico's Spicy Tomato & Basil sauce instead of making it myself. I also use 3 cloves of garlic, 1 T of cilantro instead of parsley, 3 T Parmesan, 1/4 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp chili powder, and 2 beaten eggs in the meat mixture. I also use Italian bread crumbs, and leave out the Italian seasoning. I end up making about 19-20 meatballs, and fry them in 2 T of olive oil for 5 minutes, and then add in a jar of the sauce and let them cook in that for about another 10-15 minutes, until the meat is well cooked. They're amazingly good!

Really good recipe. I used Italian bread crumbs instead of plain ones, and used different bread. Would make again in a heartbeat.

Not as good as I was hoping. I did add extra seasoning to the meatballs as others suggested but think I should have added more. It was definitely easy but if I ever make it again I will make my own sauce and add even more seasoning to the meatballs.

Very simple, very quick, loved the baking part of the meatballs, just needed a little more salt than the pinch it called for.

I loved this recipe! The meatball recipe is just perfect. Like most reviewers, I adjusted the quantities of the seasonings: adding 3 teaspoons Italian seasoning, 3 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese, 2 tablespoons minced onion, and pinch of salt and black pepper. For the last step, I put the meatballs on one side of the french bread and topped it with fresh mozzarella cheese. I put it in the broiler for approximately 5 minutes when the cheese started to bubble. It was delicious!

Not too bad, but the meatballs had a...different taste. Don't know if it's me or the recipe.

MY husband, LOVED this sandwich. I used ground turkey. That is the only substitution.

These were so good. I wanted a meatball recipe I could make in the oven versus frying and this fit the bill. The only changes I made was a served on individual french rolls, adn I used mozerella cheese as I felt it was a better fit, I also used carmelized onion and garlic flavored sauce for an extra kick. The only thing I will do differently is I will let the meatballs set up in the sauce a bit longer to get more flavor, but they were still fantastic!

This was a tasty recipe, although I didn't make it into a sandwich because I wanted to try it just as a meatball. Still, it turned out nicely.

I am so glad I went with the baguette instead of hoagie rolls on this. The roared garlic bread is a great touch. Actually, I used batard. The baguettes at my store were really skinny. I used the. Worlds best Marinara recipe instead of jarred sauce. Why ruin a great recipe with Ragu? Very nice!

This was a great meatball. next time i would add more seasoning. i like alot of flavor and this was lacking but if i had just added a bit more of the spices it would have gotten 5 stars!

This was my first try at meatballs and tasting a meatball sandwich. I was very pleased with the ease of the recipe, it was very quick too! I always thought meatballs would be a very time consuming thing to make. These sanwiches were a huge hit with my husband, my 3 year old daughter and me. The recipe will go in my favorites for dinner! I did double the italian seasoning and eggs per other reviewers suggestions and found the meatballs very tasty, not overpowered by seasoning. I also added garlic powder and onion powder. Fast and delicious, a meal that makes it look like you worked a long time to make it!
