i would probably really say 4 1/2 stars. it didn't have as much flavor as i was hoping for, but with the sauce and provelone, these were really really delicious. i used about half as much breadcrumbs. and i didnt read the directions, so i added everything into the meat except the sauce, provelone, and bread. instead of garlic powder i added onion powder. and they were delicious! even made them the wrong way!

These were a little bland for us. After mixting it up I fried up a little bit to test for seasoning. We thought it needed more flavor so we added a little more garlic, parsley and parm. Also used about a 1/2 of an onion minced. As well as a little oregano. So, good but we like a alot of flavor.

This recipe has become a staple in our house, so much so that my teenage sons friends are now coming over for dinner just for meatball subs!! The meatballs have a wonderful flavor and are so easy to make in a big batch to freeze. Thanks for a great recipe!

I have made these meatballs many, many times to use on spaghetti - my son is the PICKIEST eater and would not eat anything made with beef until I made these. They are delicious!!! If you don't have the breadcrumbs, I've found 20 saltines crushed works just as well. I also add a little salt and sometimes mozzarella cheese. You can make these smaller to go on spaghetti - I usually make about 24, bake for 10 minutes, turn over and bake another 10-15. Fabulous recipe!

Awsome! The meatballs were so moist and delicious! Except I did use poorboy rolla and the quality of the spagettii sauce makes all the differents.

This recipe was yummy. I think next time we will add more parmesan. We had to keep the meatballs in longer than the time on the recipe. We also made 24 meat balls instead of 12 because the size seemed more reasonable. I think we will try it with sausage next time to add more of a kick. Thankyou for the recipe :D

This is my favorite meatball recipe. It makes 18-24 meatballs for us. The only other change I make is adding a little cracked red pepper. Very tasty!

This ia delicious! Mmmm. That's what my kids said. I tripled the recipe and saved the leftovers for Spaghetti and more sandwiches later. My husband tried to steal it and take it to work with him. It's a hit with my family!!

I used this for the meatballs! They are fantastic! Make a bunch a head of time, stick them in the freezer for later use, either sandwich or spaghetti! Excellent! Thanks for sharing!

Really good and easy to make! Followed the exact recipe and came out delicious. I had to cook mine for 30 minutes...perhaps the size of the meatballs vary. Everyone loved it!

Great meatball sandwich! I'm just starting to cook to suprise my wife and I needed something easy that would taste good too- this worked! I used ground turkey instead of beef and less cheese to make it a bit healthier- it was a big hit in my house!

These were really YUMMY! I did add extra seasonings to it as some of the other reviewers suggested and used toasted garlic bread to serve these. Also a tip---my ice cream scoop made the perfect size meatballs. Once they were cooked, I cut them in half and made the sandwich. This made them stay on the bread better. This recipe is definately a keeper.

Make the meatballs as small as possible so they fit on the rolls.
