I followed the recipe except I used crushed butter crackers as one reviewer recommended and it was phenomenal! My husband was impressed. ;)

Overall this was a good recipe. I used a little more bacon and a little more cheese though. I mixed some of the bacon and cheese in with the potatoes before topping it with the rest. My husband and girls liked it and said they'd eat it again if I cooked it...guess that's all that matters!!!

This recipe is great and easy! I topped the meat shell with fresh sliced mushrooms and frozen green peas and carrots and baked. Then added a can of green chiles and tomatoes along with the rest of the soup to the mashed potatoes and topped it with the cheese...baked an addition 15-20 and YUM!!! Thanks :)

The pie is filling. Even my picky eater liked it. She said two thumbs up. I put 6 pieces of crumbled bacon and 3/4 c. shredded cheese. If you use more than a lb. of ground beef bake it longer. I'd make it again.

This was an instant hit with us. I did make one change - I used Ritz crackers instead of dry bread crumbs. I think it adds even more flavor. Definitely will keep this recipe.

This was good but could use a bit more spices in the meat mixture. The bacon crumbled on top was a very nice touch. Leftovers were the best.

I didn't have cream of mushroom, so I used cream of celery instead. Turned out great. I blotted the meat crust with paper towel to get out more grease.

Pretty good. Next time, I think the family would like it better if I did the shell with our regular meat loaf recipe. I love the whole meat shell and potato topping idea- thanks for sharing.

Woohoo, I get to be the first!!! This is kind of a reverse on Shepherd's Pie. Was good, although when I first had some it tasted somewhat bland, but I liked it better when it came to the leftovers. I did omit the bacon and used extra cheese.
