Made this recipe with my son. made 3 cookie platers and everyone loved them. My son and I had fun making these delicious gingerbred men, we were so busy eating them that we forgot to decorate them. Thank you.

I was looking for gingerbread men that were also a really tasty cookie. These were absolutely perfect! They are soft and moist and spicy. A couple of things to note: First, if cutting out shapes - since this dough is really soft, more detailed shapes don't come out well, they tend to tear (reindeer, for example) but men, women, snowmen, and trees did great. Second, they only last 5 days out of the fridge so don't make them too far in advance. I also added 1/4 tsp of cloves as I think I would've missed it.
