This is a great recipe! It was fast and easy. I prefer a more flavorful crust so I added dried herbs and a sprinkle of garlic powder to the flour, pre-baked with a little Parmesan and the result was EXCELLENT!!! Also since I'm only coking for myself I divided the dough into thirds and still got 3 nice sized pizzas (9 or 10 in each). This is a keeper :-)

My son asked for pineapple pizza for his eighteenth birthday. Thought I'd splurge and buy a Baboli (sp) but saw this and thought I'd give it a try. For some reason I've got a fear of yeast! Anyway... (I go for the throw it all together recipes usually) it was great! All my men raved. This added to our great day except I started crying when I realized we probably won't be together next year on Jonny's bdy. he'll be in college... oops there go the tears again. Thanks for an easy, great recipe.

I'm giving this recipe 5 stars because it was fast, easy, and I could easily modify it to make it healthier, without compromising texture or taste. It was soft and made A LOT of dough!

My son wanted pizza, so we tried this recipe for the crust, adding what we had on hand for toppings. It was fast and delicious! I bet quick calzones would be delicious with this recipe too! Thanks!

No complaints here. I made this recipe in my Kitchen Aid, using the bread hook to knead the dough. I did not use the cornmeal, only because I forgot. I spread half the dough out onto my cookie baking sheet (for a thin crust) and prebaked it for 5 minutes before topping it. My boys ate two pieces each in less than five minutes. I would say it was a hit! Next time, I'll try the garlic herb version.

Best dough I've had, be it in a restaurant or at home! It's very light, so be prepared to make a thick crust if you intend on using a healthy portion of toppings. I've used both Rapid-Rise and regular yeast, and both result in a similar product: the only difference is that the regular yeast must be prepped (with warm water and sugar) before being added to the flour. With the Rapid-Rise yeast, this is done very quickly, almost quickly enough that you can preheat the oven after kneading. I used a KitchenAid dough hook for the kneading work, and it worked just fine; you may want to add the extra 1/2 cup flour slowly with this method, though. This will help keep extra dough off the bottom.

Yummy! I added dried herbs to my dry ingredients and baked with garlic oil and cheese. Best Garlic Cheese Bread ever!
