For a change of pace, I tried this meatloaf. I loved it, my husband on the other hand did not. I believe it was the cubed bread that turned him off, usually I use bread crumbs. i did add cheese to the meat mixture prior to baking and added cheese on top of the loaf the last 15 minutes of baking. i will use this recipe again, minus the cubes to see if he notices a difference. Thank You for sharing

This was such a good meatloaf my family loved it. We will definently eat this again. Its going down as one of my favorites.I used red onion which really gave it a sweet taste. I used a table spoon of garlic powder. Cut the brown sugar to just one tablespoon. And made two loaves instead of one to cut the cooking time. Put in in for 20 mins uncovered and 20 mins covered. I didn't like the bread cubed I would suggest if you like soft meatloaf to use bread crumbs. Or ritz crackers.

I LOVE YOU for sharing this recipe!!!!! This was hands down the very best meatloaf I have ever had. You seriously dont even need ketchup. I did double the sauce as some other reviewers had suggested and I think that was a good idea, that glaze is fantastic. I also used only half an onion but only because my kids were eating this and would have refused if they saw too much onion. That being said everyone had clean plates after this meal and it warmed up great the next day for leftovers night. SO GOOD and flavorful, everyone should tuck this away for a "Staple" recipe. it's a keeper!!

This was not nearly as good as I expected it to be after all the good reviews. It came out a little dry and somewhat bland. The cubes of bread just did not work, bread crumbs are much better. And the cooking time is way too long. I cooked mine for 70 minutes and it was almost overdone. Will not make agian.

Instead of using a regular loaf pan I used two mini loaf pan so I could freeze one for later. I did cut back on the cooking time as to not overcook. I added some italian seasonings (parsley, basil, oregano) and used 1/2 lb. fresh sage sausage in place of the 1/2 lb. of beef to give more flavor. Another good meatloaf recipe from this site.

Absolutely fantastic. Made this for my fiance and her grandparents tonight, and got totally rave reviews. The brown sugar topping is the major clincher I think - very good addition. I wouldn't change a thing.

This will be the meatloaf recipe I use from now on. It was easy and very delicious. I took the advice of some other reviewers and used oatmeal instead of bread (it just sounded better to me) and I put it in a bigger pyrex dish and put quartered potatoes around the perimeter of the loaf. Very tasty!

THIS WAS THE BEST MEATLOAF RECIPE EVER!!!!! Please make this for your family and friends! I'm serious my husband Loves it and I am happy. It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to prepare. I put potatoes along the sides and make sure you add the mixture of mustard, ketchup and brown sugar (I used honey instead) when its almost done, and pour some of that extra juice out too!!!!ENJOY

This had so many good reviews, I wanted to try this. Sorry, but this just did not do it for my family. It was moist. That's the best thing I can say for it. Not much taste, and the glaze on top was way too sweet. I thought my boys would like it, but even they said to loose the recipe. This is the first time I'm posting a negative review. I'll be going back to the Quaker Oats recipe. At least the family likes that one.

I make meatloaf once a month for our Sunday dinner. That said, I am always on the lookout for a better meatloaf recipe. This just might be it! I added minced garlic to it, but I add minced garlic to everything. Other than that, I made the recipe as is. Tremendous flavor that had the whole family coming back for seconds. Me and my husband even fought over who could take the leftovers to work today. Excellent!
