I put a st patricks day spin on these for a bake sale at my daughters high school by adding green food coloring and shaping the mixture into shamrock shapes. I then bag these individually in zip lock bags for sale... they sell fast!!!

They were awesome! And my aunt actually liked them! LOL, I made two different batches, one plain and one with some crunchy cereal and raisins. They were yummy! Next time, I'll try in some m&m's, raisins, other cereal and milk. Oh, and probably peanut butter too. LOL, Thanks for posting! They're affordable and yummy and I'll ALWAYS make these from now on!

These were delicious. I followed another reviewer's advice and added the 2 1/2 tsp of milk just before the marshmallows were all melted and they were extra creamy.

Used the same measurements but added a big sccop of p-nut butter and 1/2 C butterscotch chips to this. Divided the recipe in two and placed a layer of melted choc chips between the two layers. They are fabulous!!

Follow the first two tips and these will be great! I put mine in the next size bigger pan after 13x9... I think it is 15x11. then bars were still nice and thick.

Yum! Melting slowly on the stove seems to be key-I've made these several times in the microwave and they get rock-hard after the first two hours. Followed others' advice and added 2 TBSP milk and vanilla. Thanks!

Perfectly makes the typical rice krispie treats, but for my own tastes I'd recommend using the same amount of marshmallows as rice krispies (example: 5 cups instead of 4 of marshmallow, based on the 5 cups of rice krispies). They tasted fine as made, but I prefer a little more marshmallow to 'em.

I really enjoy these when they are more gooey, so I decrease the cereal amount to about 3 - 4 cups (depending on what I have). They are REALLY good this way!

Really good and super easy. I can make just about everything, but for some reason I have such a hard time making these, they always have come out stale. I melted the butter really slowly and then melted the marshmallows pretty slowly. I added a tbs of milk to make it really creamy. They came out perfect!

Very good. I did add a little extra butter in order to get the extra "homemade" taste.
