This is the best turkey I have ever tasted. It is very tender, and very flavorful. My kids won't eat turkey without cranberry sauce to help it down. But this they eat without the cranberry sauce and they go back for seconds. even the 2 year old.

I've made this a couple of times & we really enjoy the flavor blend. I have used dried basil rather than fresh, skipped the cloves, marinated overnight, then cooked in slow cooker. Nice combination of flavors for sure!! Thanks for the recipe.

Excellent, first time I ever smoked turkey. I had sixteen people over and they all loved it. I used a 9 lb breast and dried basil and it came out very tender and good. Smoked on a my smoker for about an hour with indirect heat.

The most flavourful turkey I have ever eaten. It was perfect, and marinating it for only 4 hours was plenty of time! I used olive oil instead of vegetable oil. I will definitely make this again. Thanks, Danielle!
