I followed the recipe (only I had to use dried herbs) and cooked the steaks the exact time the recipe called for....bottom line it was absolutely fantastic. Definitely a keeper. If you are a novice at cooking Tuna Steaks please do NOT overcook. If your complaint is the tuna is dry - you have overcooked it. Can't wait to try this one again!

This marinade is great! I followed the recipe exactly, except I left out parsley and used dried oregano instead of fresh. It turned out wonderful. I marinated for 2 hours, though.

Don't forget to let the tuna steaks "rest" for 5 minutes or so, just like you would regular beef steaks. Otherwise, all the juices flow out and don't stay in! I prefer these steaks with a salsa or some kind of cool sauce. I made a Habanero Creme Sauce for some fish tacos the other day and used the sauce on the steaks. Mmm! Very good!

This recipe was not bad at all, but I had to cook the Tuna all the way, so it was a little dry and chewy. I also was unable to grill it (We don't have a grill where I work:( Otherwise it would have came out much better. It didn't have a strong flavor, next time I may add a bit more and/or marinate a little longer.

Great recipe! The tuna stays juicy, with just enough tang to keep even my picky husband interested. I've used this multiple times (as often as once a week in some cases) and will continue to use it again. Thanks so much! ETA: One good, fast way to cook this fish is to throw it on a hot George Foreman grill for 5-6 minutes.

My husband made this recipe for a big family get together and everyone loved it. The fresh herbs play a huge roll in this, so do not use dry herbs. I will use this marinade again and I think I will try it on other things too... like chicken. YUM

Yummy! I added a splash of pineapple juice (because I had a can opened) and some green onions (had them on hand as well). Marinated it a couple hours. Seared it quickly on the George Foreman. My bf who LOVES seared tuna thought it was great! We will be making this again!

This was fabulous! Didn't change a thing in terms of the recipe, however due to the weather, we had to cook indoors. We seared the filets in a very hot frying pan, and they came out wonderfully! Can't wait to make this again!

Not a fan of tuna steaks...until this marinade. Absolutely FANTASTIC! Once it came off of the grill, I garnished it with some chopped mango and place on the top of the tuna steaks. I didn't have fresh herbs so I used dry (only half of the amount called for). Next time I will also use a little ginger and fresh herbs but this is a recipe my family and I make for a long time.

This recipe is EXCELLENT. I did it with chicken too, and everyone loved it. Also, I cooked both chicken and tuna in a skillet and let the marinade carmelize to the meat ... very yummy!

Tangy, juicy. Best when served w/ a Basic Rice Pilaf. Oh so good, marinate for 4 to 6 hours for best results.

Wonderful marinade! I make tuna often and will use this marinade over and over. My teenage son and my husband agreed that this recipe is a winner! The only thing I did different was to use dried oregeno because I didn't have fresh. I used Ahi tuna and look forward to using Hawaian Sushi grade next time.

I've made this recipe many times now and it has always been wonderful. Tuna steak is easily ruined by over cooking, so do the steaks last and pay very close attention. My brother in law has ordered Tuna at many 5 star restaurants all over the country and swears this is the best he's ever had.
