This was just ok, it was too salty for our tastes but that could just be the soy sauce I used hence the 3 stars

A little too salty. If I try it again, I will use a smaller quantity of low-sodium soy sauce.

I used two 4 ounce tuna steaks and marinated them in 1/3 cup orange juice (some pulp), 1/4 cup soy sauce, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 tb of honey and the spices as listed. I marinated them for an hour (flipping them over half way through) and pan seared them in the sauce and some olive oil. This made them sweet with just a taste of saltiness. Great recipe!

Excellent recipe. I used dried instead of fresh oregano and it was still delicious.

The marinading time definitely needs to be increased so as to enjoy the mix of flavors. I marinaded for 45min to 1 hour and even then, couldn't even detect the orange juice flavor which is what I was hoping for. I wish now that I had taken the advice of other reviewers and added a touch of honey to the marinade. It was edible - tuna steak is one of my most favorite foods, but it wasn't memorable.

I did reduce the soy just a little (it wasn't loy sodium) and I didn't want a very salty taste. I also added just a little honey and I am glad that I did. I wanted just a little sweet in the background. I had the dried herbs on hand so I used those. It turned out really well. I will definately be making this again. Thanks for the post.

Yuk. I'm sure that this is a good recipe for people that like tuna. This was my first experience with tuna steak. Now I know....I DON'T LIKE tuna! It's too fishy.

Found this to be an excellent recipe. Followed the advice and was well pleased. I did use lemon pepper once the tuna was on the grill, but otherwise, followed the recipe.

Fantastic!!! I overcooked the steaks a bit but the flavor was super. I used garlic powder to save some time and clean up and it was fine...can't wait to use real garlic next time and will be more mindful of the cooking time and grill temp. This would be fantastic on chicken as well! Thanks!

This was very easy, and the best marinade I have ever tried for fish. The tuna steaks we did on the grill with this marinade were just divine.

I DO NOT like seafood. But my husband does and so I thought I would treat him to a special dinner made just for him. The only thing is, that I ended up eating just as much as he did. This is the first seafood dish I have ever liked. In fact, I am making it again tonight. I served the steaks with mango lime salsa. Delicious!! Thanks so much for the great recipe.

This is a very good marinade recipe. I overcooked my tuna and it was still great. Served the tuna on top of some fresh sorrel (lemon tasting herb) and yum, yum is all I can say.

This was the best tuna I have made yet! I was in a hurry and only marinated it for 20 minutes, but it was still delicious. I can only imagine how good it will be next time.

This was really great and thats saying something because I don't really like fish. I added in a little honey to the marinade just because I like things kinda sweet. I ate this with plain old white rice with butter and sugar mixed in it. Really good.

The best marinade i've ever had for tuna steaks so far.I was unable to get fresh parsley and oregano so I used freeze dried and the taste was fantastic the tuna steaks were moist and bursting with flavor.

Wouldn't change a thing about the marinade, it's very tasty. Served this to some friends, who in turn used the marinade on swordfish and loved that, too!
