My husband and I are beef eaters, and this dish is one we like for entertaining family and friends-it's easy to prepare and looks and tastes great. A simple marinade tenderizes the steak for grilling, and colored peppers charred alongside add spicy, smoky flavors and bright colors. It's a very pretty dish.

Flank steak is grilled after having spent the night in a fresh and spicy marinade. The marinade also serves as a sauce for the freshly grilled meat. This can be used in fajitas, as an appetizer, or a main dish. Also good in sandwiches. Just make sure you reserve some of the marinade for a sauce.

Honey, vinegar, garlic, ginger, oil and soy sauce are blended and then poured over flank steak. The meat sits in this tangy marinade overnight in the fridge, and emerges flavorful and very tender. Grill, slice, and serve.
