I marinated two rib eye steaks for four hours and this came out great. The hot pepper sauce and cayenne give it a nice kick - it all depends on how much you use. It's an odd mixture of ingredients for a steak marinade, but it's worth a try.

This seems to be a good marinade though with the high vinegar content i dont believe it is nessasary to marinate 6 hours

I found this recipe in Taste of Home several years ago. It is the best marinade! We have used it on several cuts of beef as well as chicken and shrimp. The ingredients seem bizarre, but the meat comes out tender and full of flavor.

This recipe was only okay to me. It was a little bit too sweet for my taste. If I make this again, I will omit the brown sugar or ketchup, or maybe both, to make it less sweet.

Mouth-watering!! Hubby and I aren't steak eaters but, he bought some rib eyes off of a guy at work. I chose this recipe b/c I had all the ingredients. This is the only recipe that I will ever use. The rib eyes came out perfectly seasoned; I didn't taste too much of one flavor. They had a wonderful taste that did not overpower the cut of meat. I followed the recipe exactly.
