Ingredients

  • 1 pound whole fresh mushrooms
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3/4 cup olive or vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • crushed red pepper flakes to taste

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 days. Serve with a slotted spoon.
