100% sold on this marinade. I add a lillte more cayenne to spice it up. This works great on chicken too!

Excellent. My very picky husband who only likes the best of the best said this one's a keeper. Didn't change a thing. Marinated about 45 minutes. Thank you for an excellent, easy recipe.

Fantastic! Another vote for making the recipe as is. There's no need to veer from the original; it's wonderful! Thank you for sharing this recipe; we'll get good use out of it this summer.

This is out of this world! Everytime we have used this marinate we get asked for the recipe! It is a huge hit. This is delicious. I always make the marinade the night before. I put the shrimp and marinade in a large zip lock bag over night in the fridge...it always comes out great! We have also just thrown the shrimp in a pan on the stove and on the george forman grill. It is fantastic!

This was delicious! I think the marinade might work nicely with salmon or chicken also. Next time I will marinate for a little longer than 1 hour though.

Wow. Excellent recipe. I used catsup instead of tomato sauce and marinated for 4 hours. I served it as an appetizer and it was a major hit.

I tried this recipe and tasted the marinate and didn't think much of it but with all the great reviews I decided to give it a try. I marinated the shrimp for 12 hours and cooked them over a charcoal grill. I will have to say they were the best shrimp I ever cooked on the grill. I made 5# for a party and they were standing in line to get more. I did add a little extra cayenne.

This marinade made for excellent tasting shrimp. I followed recipe except used ketchup, white wine vinegar because that is what I had on hand, dry basil and "eyeballed the rest of the ingrediants. Worth the effort!

Excellent flavor! Kids and hubby loved it. Spicy but not too spicy. Ingredients are things I usually have on hand. I grilled mine on grill pan b/c I got rained out - still very good!

The tomato and vinegar combo give the shrimp a sweet kick while the basil adds another layer of flavor. Very nice!
