Wonderful. I didn't change any of the ingredients and it turned out perfectly. I marinated for about 3-4 hours - - I like to marinate in big freezer bags vs bowls..turns out better this way and takes up less space in the fridge! I had never tried grilling shrimp before - so easy and quick. I was VERY happy with this - - thanks so much for the recipe! Will definitely make again - especially when we have guests.

This was GREAT! I made three batches of the marinade and marinated shrimp, chicken, and some veggies. I served it all with pasta and french bread. My kids, hubby and in-laws all loved it! There was not a bite left over.

My family liked this so much, I finally signed up to write a review. In fact, it's marinading in the fridge now. I have tweaked from the reviews and leave out the salt, add Old Bay and a touch of lemon juice. Our favorite marinade for shrimp by a mile.

WOW! So good, this is a new staple when family comes to visit! I thought it was even better the next day... cold. I think it would be fantastic on a salad- but I can't think of a salad dressing that would compliment the flavor. Any suggestions? If so, please email me at ccrinaz@cox.net Thanks in advance for any help!

YUM! Had this for "friend" night on the patio. Ate with a Lentil Salad on a bed of baby spinach! Light and perfect for a summer evening.

This is officially our go-to shrimp marinade. Great for grilling - also great to do on the stove, add some extra tomato sauce, and serve over pasta. Very versatile and just bursting with flavor!

This was fantastic. I made it for an end-of-summer cookout, and everyone loved it. I followed the directions exactly, except subbing cilantro for the basil (a friend is allergic to basil, poor guy) and while the cilantro was good, I can imagine that the basil will make it fabulous (I love basil). Next time I might try using ketchup for the tomato sauce; I personally thought that a little sweetness would have added something....or maybe a dash of Worcestershire or even some brown sugar. The cayenne amount was just right for me, but my husband likes SPICY, so he could've taken more heat. A dash of Tabasco, maybe? The Chipotle Tabasco is really good, that might be worth a try sometime too. Anyway, this one rated 5 stars the first time I tried it; I'm very excited to add my own personal touches and see how it comes out. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe!

My hubby said this was very good. I'm not a big fan of shrimp, but I tried a piece and liked it... I can't say I loved it, but the fact that I was able to eat it at all is saying something. Thanks!

We succesfully executed this recipe! Kids and Adults all loves it. I made two modifications. We used Ketchup and we reduced the pepper to 1/8th of a tsp. Both worked out very well. The pepper was still there and the hint of it was ok with my very sensetive family! Thank you for this great recipe!

The marinade was perfect for giving the shrimp a little flavor but not too much as to overpower it. I have used this several times and love it.

I have made these several times and always get requests for the recipe. I double the recipe and reserve half of the marinade. I emulsify it, heat it and serve it over rice or pasta.

This was very easy and very amazing! I'm not the best cook, so I need recipes that are fool-proof. This fit the bill. I took the fish basket off the hot part of the grill half way thru and poured more marinade over the shrimp to make sure they would be juicy. I did it over the cold side of the grill so I could just burn it off, rather than dirty up the kitchen. One word for this recipe: YUM!!!
