I just made this marinade and it was great! I had to use things I had on hand since I havent gone to the store this week. But I followed the recipe exact other than I sub. the tomato paste for diced fire roasted tom. and instead of cayeanne pepper I used, chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (but only 1/2tsp to 1tsp) gave it amazing flavor. Blended it in my blender and it was done. thank you.

I wanted a chilled shrimp for a party and thought this might fit the bill--it did! I made the marinade as written with one exception--I had only rice vinegar. Fresh basil and garlic is a MUST--don't substitute that dried stuff. I refrigerated for two hours and then steamed them quickly. Chilled in fridge and served cold. Yummy!

I cut the recipe in half because I wanted to make sure I like it before cleaning all the shrimp. My boyfriend was manning the grill & decided to do a taste test. He ate half of them before they made it inside. They tasted great, going to clean the rest and have them again tonight, but I will do the grilling!

This is a good MILD shrimp recipe. I can see how kids would like it. I gave it a 4 because it didn't "wow" my group of friends at a BBQ. I did follow the recipe to a T.

Besides for peeling and skewering the shrimp this was an amazingly easy recipe and it tasted awesome! My kids chowed down on it too the point that I was worried they would get sick from eating too much. My oldest is already asking when we can have it again. This is a keeper!

Very good recipe! I found there wasn't quite enough marinade for 2 lbs of shrimp. I also added a bit more basil, pepper, and garlic.

These were delicious! I didn't have tomato sauce, so I used ketchup! We wrapped them up and made fajitas out of the shrimp. Will definately make over and over again.

OMG!!! This is soooooo good! I 'cooked' mine on the George Foreman grill and it only took about 3-4 minutes! Quick and delicious! So easy!

Easy and a big hit with family and friends. I served with black beans and rice and a salad. I marinated for 24 hours. Next time I will buy shrimp that is already peeled and deveined - that alone took over 30 min. since I doubled the recipe. I will definitely make this again.

Wonderful. I didn't change any of the ingredients and it turned out perfectly. I marinated for about 3-4 hours - - I like to marinate in big freezer bags vs bowls..turns out better this way and takes up less space in the fridge! I had never tried grilling shrimp before - so easy and quick. I was VERY happy with this - - thanks so much for the recipe! Will definitely make again - especially when we have guests.
