Great flavour on the meat, I reduced the amount of Soy sauce and it turned out perfect. I didn't pound it to an even thickness, which turned out ok since there was a rarer section and a more well done part.

I've been using this for a couple of years now, and just realized it didn't make it into my recipe box: I'm using my original, stained printout! This recipe is perfect as it is: everyone asks for the recipe, and it's so simple. You'll be a hero! We just had four family members staying with the three of us. I bought a 3 1/2 pound flank steak, prepared it for grilling (though it's great in the broiler, too), and they licked the plate clean! I advise pounding the meat to as even a thickness as possible before marinating it, for more even doneness. Thanks, Jean, for sharing!

I didnt change a thing-and didnt need to! Delicious! Well, actually, I did use Top sirloin instead of flank. Flank is pretty expensive here. Anyway, next time I'll use the BBQ instead of Broil.(My bbqs covered in 3 feet of snow right now.)

Just started low carbing and decided to try this recipe- was the first time I'd ever attempted a Flank Steak, was never sure how to cook it. It turned out excellent, and I will use this recipe again, for sure- seems like it would be one you could experiment with as well- I definitely will try it with ginger.

This was really really good! I also used low sodium soy sauce and instead of oregano, I used ground ginger. I had 1 flank steak and 1 flat iron steak so I marinaded both. I will make this again.

Followed the recipe exactly; the soy sauce overwhelmed the rest of the flavors. Probably won't use this marinade again.

I will definitely be making this again, it was very tasty and the steak was amazingly tender. I was expecting complaints and was very pleasantly surprised when everyone was raving about it. I will try using the low sodium soy the next time. I even pan fried our steaks with onions and mushrooms, everything was great.

This comes out perfect everytime, I have substituted ketchup for the tomato paste and you can't tell the difference. Even my very picky daughter gives this a huge "YESSSS!!" everytime I make it.

My husband hates anything with soy sauce in it, and he LOVES this marinade. He asks for it every time I cook steak now--no matter what the cut. My kids eat it, too.

Very Easy! Very delicious. I used low-sodium soy sauce. The flavor was almost too strong for my taste.

My family loves steak but my wallet doesn't. With this cut of meat the problem is solved!! I used a 2 lb london broil and the only change that I made to the marinade was tomato sauce instead of paste (bought sauce by mistake). After doubling the recipe for my larger piece of meat and marinading over night I was THRILLED with the outcome. This is a KEEPER FOR SURE!! Thanks for sharing!!

Good stuff. Made this at a barbecue, to rave reviews. It was a little too salty for me, but not for anyone else, and I still loved it!

Great recipe. The steak was so tender. My first time having a flank steak. I do believe I will use low sodium soy next time as it was just a small bit saltier than I like it.

I made this on Saturday night for the whole family. The smell as these steaks hit the grill is incredible and I could barely keep my hands out of the way of my wife's electric knife as she sliced them. I made four steaks for 10 adults and 2 kids and had some left over for a late meal on Sunday. I'm going to try the recipe again, but with reduced sodium soy souce.

I have not done this with flank steak but did use a top round steak. It worked so well I did it a again. The marinate was more of a wet rub than a marinate. I loved

I am always a little hesitant to try a recipe before it has been reviewed but I was definitely not disappointed with this one. It was fantastic. i followed the recipe exactly and my fiance couldn't get enough. He told me that this needs to be placed into the regular rotation. I served it with zucchini and rice. Hope you all enjoy!
