Excellent! I agree with other reviewers that this marinade is great. I followed all the ingredients, changed one step. I took the onion and put it in my mini food processer and pulverized it to a juicy paste. I then added it to the marinade. It created a thick consistency that adhered to the steaks beautifully. I also do this with onion and add it to am hamburger meat for burgers. Juicy!

Pretty Blah..Cut oil by 2/3, add some 7 up(bubbley sugar), and tiger sauce. Now that's a marinade. Best on tri tip or top sirloin not a ribeye or New york.

Very tender. I did take other posters' advice and used 1/2 the oil (I used olive oil) and substituted 1/2 of the soy sauce with a steak sauce the hubby made. I also doubled the amount of garlic because we love garlic in my household. The steak was very good and very tender, but the onions were phenominal. I will definitely keep this as a possible veggie marinade as well.

OMG!! This was awesome!!! You MUST take the onions- make a foil packet - add some of the marinade- and sautee on the grill!!! Next time- I will triple the amount of onions for that reason. This was a great marinade for steak.

We made this recipe as stated- but with changing the amount based on our smaller amount of steak. The meat had a great flavor and we definitely liked it. Marinaded it for about 8 hours prior to broiling.

It was okay, definitely not the most flavourful marinade I've ever had. But I really liked the red wine vinegar, I think I would use more of it and maybe eliminate the lemon juice.

I thought it was pretty good. Nothing special though. I marinated the steak originally for fondue night, and then cooked up the leftovers the next day for a steak sandwich. The sandwich was better then the fondue, I give the marinade credit there, because I tossed the remaining marinade in the skillet while cooking the steak up. I added the steak sauce as others suggested, which made it taste more like steak sauce then anything. I would use it again though for a steak sandwich dinner, as that was really quite tasty.

This was really very good. I don't usually marinade, but we had some cheap NY strips that really benefited from this marinade. Thanks!

It's a good marinade, tasty, and helps tenderize. I used it to marinate two thick round steaks and they turned out pretty good, actually really good for round steaks. I'd use it again.

Very good. No one wanted to use steak sauce on steaks marinaded with this recipe. Next time I will marinade for 24 hours, only had time for 6 hours this time but was still delicious!

We like the taste of all the additives. Next time we will decrease the worscetershire sauce. That would be the only thing we would change.
