This was the first time I ever cooked steak myself. It turned out wonderfully. I loved it. With the vinegar I used a little less the 1/4 cup. Also, I don't have the luxury of a grill being that I am on the 3rd floor of a condo so I purchased a standard griddle pan and that worked out great. As for meat, I used 2 T-bone steaks. I will be using this recipe again!!! Thank you

Very Tasty... I made it to serve 10 and had plenty to marinade 2 large steaks in a 1 gal. zipper bag. 6 hours is all I did and I think a little more time is needed. 24 hours may be to much time... I will make this ahead of time and then add it to the meat and onions first thing in the morning...

Im sure this is a great marinade for some, but I found it to be to strong with vinegar. I even added brown sugar to sweeten it a little. Didnt help. Then again, I dont like steak sauce either. Thats what this reminded me of. I prefer barbeque sauce with steak if it doesnt have a flavor .

this marinade was like a little piece of heaven dancing on my tongue, I followed the recipe, except I omitted the garlic powder and used fresh minced garlic instead. I'm will definitely use this again, thanks again for the recipe!

i added more garlic and some green tobassco sauce. i marinaded chicken breasts for @ 24 hours, bone-in. it was a strange combo, and i was worried about the fresh lemon juice being in it so long...no problem. the marinade was weird to taste after just making it, but the results were out-standing. a great marinade on chicken! try it!

My family gave this 5 stars. It was easy to make, and the striploin steaks were tender and delicious. Thanks!

fantastic, allow to sit at room temp 1 hour before cooking. Spicy brown mustard tastes great in place of dijon

It smelled like it was going to be very flavorful, but all it did was maybe make the steak tender. My husband and I enjoyed it, but our 3 year old said he didn't like it.

I used this to marinate meat that I was putting over a salad. the steak was SO good I didn't use any dressing b/c i didn't want to mask the flavor of the meat. Definitely using this for ALL my steak from now on!

Oh my! This is the only marinade I will ever use for steak. It really made for the best steaks we've ever had. I'm sure the onions would have made it even better, but I didn't use them and it was still amazing. Thanks!

Loved this recipe. I actually marinated for 48 hours because it had been raining and we could not grill when we wanted to. This recipe reminded me of the seasoning a local mexican restaurant uses on their fajita meat. It was delish!

Excellent marinade! I have never been very good at cooking steaks - no matter the cut, they always came out dry and overdone. I used this recipe, put the steak in a sealed ziplock bag for ~8 hours and actually broiled it in the oven ~6" from the broiler for 10 min. per side, then let it 'rest' for 5 min. - which produced a wonderful medium-well, juicy, flavorful steak.

We had steak at the Keg a few weeks ago. We enjoyed our steak done in this marinade alot more. I would highly recommend this for any grade of steak. I marinaded for almost 4 hours. Perfect! We will keep this as our #1 marinade. Thanks for the recipe Jessie!

Great marinade!! My husband is a huge steak fan and now insists that we use this marinade everytime we have steak. Great taste and no added spice needed when grilling!

This was sooooo good! Will defiantly use this again. My husband took the onions and some of the marinade and placed it on some foil on the grill...the onions were the best part!!!! I marinaded it in the morning before I went to work. Ummmm! Thanks!

This was excellent. I marinated New York strips for less than 2 hours - in a vacuum sealed bag - and the flavor was rich, the meat juicy, and very tender.

Excellent! Steak was very tender and moist too. I used minced dry onion instead of regular onion - it stuck to the steaks and was delish!!!!
