Not bad. A little too thin though. Next time I'll marinade overnight instead of just a few hrs.

Very tasty! Marinaded overnight and put the chicken on the BBQ. I even used the left overs for a chicken salad the next day. Yummy!

Comes out AMAZINGLY tender. Threw all the ingredients into a ziplock bag and left in the fridge for about 6 hours. BBq'd on low heat, basting chicken every 5 minutes or so, flipped once, then turned the heat up to crisp it up a tad right before it was done. I can't tell you how amazing the taste is! I've looked for a good marinade for quite some time and I FINALLY found one. Melts in your mouth! Thank you!

Wow, I didn't think a marinade would be that good but this completely changed my boring chicken and rice dish. I changed the servings to 2 since I was just making one chicken breast, cut it up in pieces and marinated for about an hour and then stir fried in a little canola oil and it really made the chicken stand out. I will definitely make this again.

I have to give it 4 stars because of the saltiness. I omitted the salt and even then the amount of soy sauce made it a little salty. Cut back on the soy sauce. Great marinade. I marinated overnight and grilled the following evening. thanks

Exceptional recipe. The flavors that marinade in the chicken are wonderful. It’s best served after grilling the chicken. This recipe will work with steak as well!

I have made this twice now and both times it turned out great! I cut down the lemon juice, vinegar, and mustard because my husband doesn't really like those things. He loved it and never noticed that it had those three ingredients in it! I made chicken sandwhiches with this, add a little bit of ranch dressing, cheese slices and tomatoes...its great!

We love this marinade! I use boneless, skinless chicken breasts pounded out to an even thickness. I halved the recipe, left out the salt, and added minced garlic. I BBQ the chicken and make more than needed for dinner because it makes wonderful sandwiches the next day! Be sure to save off a little marinade before adding it to the chicken because it is yummy to drizzle over the cooked chicken and sticky rice (calrose).

Excellent! This one is a keeper. I followed the recipe exactly and our chicken was so good! Next time, I will omit the extra salt because I think the soy sauce has plenty. Thanks for the great recipe!

This was a great recipe. I didn't use mustard powder (because I didn't have any)but it was great with my chicken! This is a good base recipe with many possible variations depending on your tastes. I will definitley be using again :)

Sorry, the family was not crazy about this recipe. They ate it but said they would not eat it again. I don't like that soy taste and I even used light soy sauce and ommitted the salt.

AWESOME! Tastes almost just like chicken BBQ chicken! I made as is, minus black pepper and I realized as the marinade was almost complete I was out of parsley. I also decreased the oil a little to trim some fat. This is def a repeater at the LTH house! Thanks for a fabulous recipe!!

Fantastic! I made a half recipe and also cut the oil back to 1/4 cup (watching calories). My husband loved it and the chicken comes off the grill so golden brown

Good, but not great. I used canola oil in place of vegetable and marinated for 6 hours in the fridge. I think for the best flavor I may marinate overnight next time.

This recipe is so versatile. I had to substitute with what I had on hand to get dinner on the table. I used olive oil, not vegetable. I had no lemon, so I used orange juice. I had no red wine vinegar, so I used white wine vinegar. Left out the parsley so my kids wouldn't complain about the little green things. Still an amazing marinade. As long as you keep the ratios of acid, oils, and spices - use whatever you have on hand!

This was absolutely, hands down, the best chicken that I have ever grilled! The ONLY change that I made (but it was a critical one, I believe) was to use balsamic instead of red wine vinegar. Everything else, I kept the same. My chicken was a beautiful caramel color, smelled wonderful while cooking, and tasted amazing! I will say, though, that I'm an idiot and didn't look at the serving size and this made WAY too much marinade. I had six HUGE chicken breasts and this was entirely too much for them, so I would scale it back by at least half. I served with Herbed New Potatoes from this site, a green salad with homemade Italian dressing, and Easy Peach Cobbler (also from this site) for dessert. We had a great meal!
