I ommited the salt and used dried parsely. I mixed the marinade with 6 chicken legs and 2 thighs (bone-in, skin on) and it sat in our cooler until Saturday night. We were camping and cooked it on the grill. It had great color - very rich and golden. The flavor was good, but I think that it lacked garlic. I will add several cloves of crushed garlic cloves next time. It was overall a very good recipe and the chicken was moist and packed with flavor.

Absolutely fabulous! I've made it twice and found that it's a real 'keeper'. I made it exactly to recipe with no changes at all. It's so great to find another way to dress up chicken that is just as good the next day as leftovers.

Gives chicken even boneless skinless breasts a good flavor. I used just about a half cup on four breasts, and had at least two cups of marinade left over for future use (stored in fridge). Didn't have much time to leave on, so I used my multi-blade meat tenderizer. I recommend one of these little wonders highly - it not only breaks up tough fibers in meat but also helps to drive the marinade into the meat. The result was extremely tender and tasty meat. My nine-year old son gave the chicken a very high thumbs up, and he often complains that it is "too chewy".

I'm giving this four stars because the chicken was very moist and tender but it really didn't have much flavor for me. I probably wont use this again.

This is the best chicken marinade recipe I've tried. I only marinated about 1 hour and the chicken was moist and the flavor is great. Can't wait to make this again when I have more time to marinate the chicken.

My husband seems to like it, I don't eat meat so it is hard for me to judge, but it looks and smells great. I use olive oil instead of vegetable oil.

Excellent flavor. I didn't change a thing. I only marinated my boneless chicken breasts for 4 hour and they were moist and flavorful.

This makes a lot, so I usually mix up a batch, pour what I need over chicken breasts in a large Ziploc bag, and then keep the rest in a bottle in the fridge for next time. I rarely use fresh parsley. A favorite at our house.

Unbelieveable! I didn't have time to marinate the chicken long before we bbq'd, but it was still fantastic. I did not add the extra salt; it was salty enough on its own (and I'm a big saltaholic). I'm not sure I'll even share this one with anyone; I want to keep it all for myself!

I scaled this down to 12 servings for three boneless chicken breasts. I used olive oil vs. vegetable oil. I always use low sodium soy sauce and I didn't have fresh parsley so I used dried. I made this in the morning and let it marinate all day. The chicken was very tender and full of flavor. This would be great for kabobs!

This was a fabulous marinade. The chicken had so much flavor. My husband went on and on about it. It was so easy to make, and I had all ingredients on hand. I did cut the recipe in half because of other reviews, and had plenty of marinade.

Outstanding! I made this with pork and it was one of the best pork marinades I've ever tried. I made only 1/4 of the recipe and it was plenty for 5 steaks. I let them marinate all day (8-9 h) , browned both sides in pan for a few minutes and then followed some of the reviews and baked them at 350F for 40 min or so. Even my little kids loved them because they came out SO moist and tender. Thank you :)

This is a fantastic recipe. I was short on time, so it only had 2 hrs. to marinate. It was great, but will marinate longer next time. I would use olive oil rather than vegetable, and it doesn't need as much oil as the recipe calls for. I used lite soy sauce and cider vinegar rather than red wine vinegar. Don't add salt to this recipe. Experimenting with rice wine vinegar is yummy, too - but only a little as rice wine vinegar is pretty strong.

This is a fabulous recipe. I also put the marinade in a ziploc and marinaded it for over a day. WE loved it! When I took the leftovers to work, the entire staff kept coming back to see what I was eating because it smelled that fabulous. Will make again!
