This recipe is absolutely wonderful. I just made this for the first time and got rave review, everyone was asking for the recipe. I wouldn't change a thing other than making a bigger batch.

Gets kinda hard and definitely tastes like white chocolate. I used Ghiradelli white chocolate morsels and they are REALLY waxy. I'll try a different kind next time.

I thought this was pretty awful and I really like fudge. I think it was the "white chips". It might have been good with actual white chocolate.

I wish I hadn't taken the suggestion of another reviewed and mixed in butterscotch chips - their flavor completely overwhelmed the maple taste.

Mmm, so delicious. I admit it - I overcooked it. But the flavor is divine, wouldn't change a thing. I wanted to try it with the good white chocolate and maple extract, but my grocer stuck me with imitation flavoring and white "morsels" as opposed to the chocolate; trust me, it tastes just fine. Thanks so much for sharing! ***Made a second time, boiling for just over 4 minutes, and forgot the maple extract!!! So I have a perfectly textured while chocolate fudge, lol. They say the third time's a charm - let's hope so!

I didn't care much for this myself, but others really liked it. I thought that it was a little chewy, which could have been my err in the cooking/boiling process. But th maple flavoring was a good change from the usual peanut butter or chocolate that I make.

Delicious fudge. Perfect consistency (but you have to give it time in the refrigerator, so PATIENCE!!)I added more maple extract, about 3 teaspoons. I also mixed in all of the nuts. I lined an 8x8 pan with parchment paper which works better than foil in my opinion.

This fudge came out perfect! The texture was not too soft and not too hard at all! Next time, I think I will add a little more maple extract than what the recipe called for though. Maybe 2 teaspoons or so. I could taste a lot of white chocolate from the chips still, so I think more maple would be better. This was a great recipe and I for sure will be using it again next year. Thanks!!

Flavor was nice, but I'd use more maple extract next time. Instead of garnishing the fudge with walnut halves, I doubled the chopped walnuts inside the fudge. And unless you like your fudge wafer thin, use an 8x8 pan. I trusted the recipe (unfortunately) and poured the fudge into a 13x9 pan. I realized the fudge was incredibly thin (I'm used to SQUARES of fudge, not WAFERS of fudge!!!) so I quickly removed the foil & fudge from the 13x9 pan and smushed it into an 8x8 (not an easy task since the fudge was cooling and thickening.) Wish the recipe had stated an 8x8 pan - it sure would have made for a more pleasant experience. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because who wants fudge wafers?? I've never seen flat fudge in fudge shops!!!!

I've made this fudge a couple of times and it always turns out. By the suggestion of other members, I used butterscotch morsels and extra maple extract. Yum. The only problem with this recipe is that everyone seems to eat way more then they wanted to! Good luck!

Very easy, extremely delicious fudge! Literally melts in your mouth. I got a lot more than 50 pieces - it's so rich a small piece is enough (if you can resist more!).

If you want superb maple taste, use Mapleine® flavoring. I bought some other brand, and it was so watered down.
