Recipe by Chef John
"This is the perfect thing to make and volunteer to bring to your family Thanksgiving gathering when you want to look like you made an effort! The maple syrup sweetens it perfectly and the walnuts make the texture so much more interesting."

1 (12 ounce) package
fresh cranberries, rinsed and drained
freshly squeezed orange juice
dark (grade B) maple syrup
freshly grated ginger
freshly grated orange zest
1 (3 inch)
This is not your typical cranberry sauce - it was easy to make and absolutely delicious. I brought the cranberry sauce to a Thanksgiving Dinner and everyone loved it; even someone who doesn't usually like cranberry sauce at all. I won't wait till Thanksgiving to make this again.
