Best salmon ever! One of my favorites on entire website. I ate the whole portion myself in two meals because it was sooooooo good. Wrapped in aluminum foil to marinate, but cooked uncovered. Used garlic powder in lieu of garlic salt.

Pretty good. I liked another recipe with honey and pecans better, but I will use this again if I dont have the other ingredients on hand.

Very very delicious. Easy and simple to make. The only thing I would change is to double marinated sauce so the salmon can be covered all the way.

I've made this twice. First following the recipe to the T and it was good, but I felt the flavor could be stronger.=== The second time I made it, I doubled the recipe and followed some suggestions posted in the reviews. I marinated it wrapped in tin foil to keep as much of the marinade on the fillet as possible. After 30 minutes, I placed the pouches on a baking sheet and baked them for 20 minutes at 400F. While they were cooking I prepared another baking sheet with tinfoil and lightly greased it with cooking spray. Removed salmon from oven. Very carefully I removed the fillets from the pouches and placed them on the second baking sheet, reserving the liquid. Poured the liquid into a saucepan and added about 1/2 teaspoon of cornstarch. Increased the oven temperature to Broil and returned the fillets to the oven for five minutes. Meanwhile, cooked the remaining liquid over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes to thicken sauce. Served over fillets. DELICIOUS!!! My boyfriend and his brother both LOVED this recipe.

This recipe was great. The flavor of the maple blended perfectly with the soy sauce and garlic taste. My family really enjoyed it. I will make it again soon.

Wow, this recipe is fabulous! I love the combination of salmon with a sweet delectable sauce and this rates right up there. In order to make this a wee bit healthier, I used garlic powder rather than the salt and I'm glad I did. There is enough sodium in the soy sauce without the addition of any more. I also feel real maple syrup is a must. Thanks Starflower - a fantastic recipe.

I have to say that I don't like salmon all that much, and for some reason, I figured that Aunt Jemima would be equivalent to maple syrup...that having been said, this is definitely one of the worst 4+ star recipes I've made. I kept finding myself trying to add more saltiness and sour flavorings...as if I could somehow rescue our expensive cut of salmon and return it to the lemon pepper we -should- have bathed it in. Again, I'm not one to slam someone else's creation. Maybe there was something wrong with the salmon. And again, I'm not a big fan of it in the first place... I'm giving it two stars, because it probably would've been better if I'd used real maple syrup.
