INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon maple flavoring
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups quick-cooking oats
1 cup raisins

DIRECTIONS
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in maple flavoring. Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in oats and raisins.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool.

Simply delicious. A great recipe the maple flavoring makes this cookie excellent!! I followed the directions exactly except I added a bit more maple and it turned out great!!

Wonderful recipe. I added 1 teaspoon of ground cloves, one teaspoon of vanilla extract, extra cinnamon, and extra raisins, and they were phenomonal. I was getting compliments for weeks afterwards.
