I made this exactly as called for and I actually prefer this over the much higher rated "Fluffy Pancake" recipe on here. While I didn't really taste the maple syrup, I may just use vanilla extract next time, the pancakes were flatter and easier to make unlike the "Fluffy" ones that just ended up being a big blob in the pan.

really good! i have a bit of a sweet tooth so i added 1 tabelspoon of sugar and it tasted amazing! i love this pancake recipe!

Great pancakes! Easy recipe to follow! I just added a little more flour (to thicken it up some), salt, and also added some Vanilla and everything was perfect!

Okay~ so these pancakes are yummy & I will make them again, but the maple flavor is nonexistant. I love that they don't have lots of sugar and the maple syrup gives a crunchy edge to the pancakes. But the title is misleading. I used a good syrup too, none of that Mrs. Buttersworth . As pancakes go I loved them, but for my taste buds I need at least double the syrup before they'd be "maple" pancakes!!

made these yesterday for brunch...very yummy...i realized after i started the batter i didn't have any milk but had buttermilk so i used that...and storebrand pure maple syrup...good stuff...will forsure make them again...thanks for sharing the recipe...

Not good at all. I don't understand the reviews. They were bland and flat. I tried it twice, once as written and the 2nd time with the suggestions of less oil, more maple & I even added some chocolate chips. Still the pancakes couldn't be saved. Soooo many great pancake recipeis on this site. Don't do this one!!

It was amazing but I took the viewers' advise so here's what I added 3tsp sugar 1/2tsp vanilla A little extra syrup because mine was lite Extra handful of flour Make sure you don't mix up baking soda with powder I always make that mistake The way I did it it was not fluffy but I like it that way I put blueberries that I picked the day before on it and it was the best pancake I ever tasted
