This was the first time I've made pancakes without a mix and they were really good! I used whole wheat flour so they were nice and thick. I also added some cinnamon and all spice as some others have suggested. It had a nice sweet wholesome taste! Really simple and easy.

Super easy, turned out great - mine were quite thick, not thin... we added bananas for a super breakfast. We'll keep using this... no need to buy pancake mix anymore. Thanks!

I thought that this recipe was fantastic! It was a little runny, but after I followed another reviewers suggestion and added another 1/4 cup of flour it was perfect. I like that the maple syrup give it that kick of sweetness, all in all a very good recipe.

Very easy. I followed some sugestions from others the second time around. Cut the oil in half. Double the maple syrup. If you want a more filling, stick-to-your-bones meal, spread peanut butter over them with some syrup. Try it, promise its good! P.S. If you want super fluffy pancakes cut the milk down a 1/4 cup and replace it with club soda. The carbonation fluffs them up.

I added a tbs of sugar, tbs of vanilla and tbs cinnamon. They came out perfect, nice and fluffy. I would add fruit next time for added flavor.

I followed the suggestion to add a bit of vanilla and these were quite simple but very good. Not as heavy as most pancakes I'm used to eating, which is good. I'll keep this on my list to use again.

These pancakes were a delight! i ran out of white sugar and was looking for an alternative sweet substitute. This recipe did it! I added a little cinnamon, honey and vanilla extract. DELICIOUS! :)

Easy, simple, fast pancake recipe. I love maple, so this is a fave of mine. Hubby, who's not as much a maple fan, still likes, though you can substitute brown sugar too. Also, add choco chips for extra sweetness and yumminess.

We enjoyed this recipe. I had read some reviews that complained of these pancakes being tasteless. I took that into consideration and decided to cambat that by increasing the salt by a "pinch", adding a 1/2 tsp of pure vanilla extract and also adding a tbsp of sugar. I also used melted butter instead of the veg oil. They were really good, not tasteless at all. They cooked up nicely but after the batter had a chance to rise a minute, they puffed up even better. Altogether, a pretty good basic pancake recipe, I might try adding some diced fresh strawberries next time. : )

If you find this recipe bland, you are using the wrong syrup! Corn syrup and real maple syrup from the tree taste entirely different!

These weren't extremely great but they were quite tasty.Maybe a little bland but that's easily fixed with some maple syrup or jam.

They didn't quite turn out. I expected much more from this recipe. Inside the pancake wasn't fluffly. The taste wasn't as enjoyable as I expected. I wouldn't recommend this recipe.

Very Good. I enjoyed this recipe a lot I did alter it some though. Butter instead of Veggie oil, half the maple, the other half I used brown sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp maple extract. The warm maple brown sugar combo was awesome. Thank you.
