As written this recipe deserves a 2. I thought it was way too salty as is. I ended up adding a tablespoon each of sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon, and a banana, and then it tasted good.

I made these yesterday for breakfast and really liked them. They have a yummy wholesome taste. I used whole wheat flour instead of reg. flour for more nutrition. I also added 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 tsp vanilla. Unfortunately my 2 yr. old didn't like them, but I love them. It made 7, 1/4 cup servings for me.

I am lactose intolerant and substituted the milk for lactose free milk and left the eggs out of the recipe. Everything turned out great. This is a simple, quick, and good recipe. My son ate them with me and loved it.

This made flat, thin eggy type pancakes, not fluffy, denser and heavier, but they tasted like pancakes as far as pancakes go. No one even mentioned the maple flavor and truthfully I couldn't taste it even though I used pure maple syrup. I got 12 pancakes from this. The recipe says these are thin, it means it. Not as much as a crepe, but still a lot thinner than I prefer. Thanks for sharing.

These pancakes were very plain. There was no taste at ALL to them! I will definitely stick to the box pancakes much rather than this recipe. :( Sorry for the bad review.

I will never buy boxed pancake mix again! These were great. I did add vanilla and cinnamon in order to add a little bit more flavor. My husband and daughter loved them and are already asking me to make more tomorrow morning.

These were easy to make, not too sweet, and really tasty. I don't like really fluffy, thick pancakes so these were perfect. My son loved them. He tasted them before adding syrup, and said he could even eat them without it (but he didn't!) I topped mine with blueberries and just a little maple syrup.

to make a long story short: my ready mix pancake/waffle batter went bad. i chose this one (since it only called for so much ingredients). this is my first "from scratch pancake." i was disappointed. batter was so thick, the outside was getting black but insides still wet. looked like biscuits. added 1/2 cup more milk to thin batter. still looked like biscuit and tasted awful. three kids who begged for pancakes were sad after having a small nibble.

Delicious, but yes; even with more than twice the maple syrup there's only a hint of it. i also added cinnamon.

The taste of these panckes was good but I don't think I'll ever make them because they were so thin. I tend to like thicker pancakes...but it's my fault! I shouldn't have made this recipe (I read the reviews that said they were thin and made them anyway)

These pancakes came out nice and fluffy even though I made a double batch with only 1 egg. They were really good. Hit the spot!

I made a few changes- I used unsweetened applesauce instead of oil, omitted the maple syrup, and added a half teaspoon cinnamon and a teaspoon vanilla extract. It was delicious. However, the recipe says it is for two. My fiance and I are both athletes ho love to eat, and this made two breakfasts for each of us. I would say the recipe is for four.

These are so good! The texture is great-- they reminded me a lot of crêpes. I also added a tbsp of sugar, which made them very flavorful and tasty but not too sweet. They'd be great with jam or nutella.

This was the first time I've made pancakes without a mix and they were really good! I used whole wheat flour so they were nice and thick. I also added some cinnamon and all spice as some others have suggested. It had a nice sweet wholesome taste! Really simple and easy.
