After reading the reviews, I decided to leave out the orange peel, in an attempt to make it less orange-y in flavor. But it still had a strong orange flavor, and was very sweet.

We found these carrots a little too sweet and I agree that the orange overpowered the maple.

Very disappointing - this was more like Orange Glazed Carrots. The orange flavoring over powered the maple syrup.

I was afraid these would be too sweet, but was pleasantly surprised with how tasty these were. They were also simple to prepare and served as a good make ahead side dish.
