I LOVED this recipe!!! I tried it this morning because it was the only recipe that I had all of the ingredients to make. It was super easy, quick, and oh so very delicious! I will make this again for sure.

Absolutely delicious. And easy. Big hit with my daughter who HATES almond extract. She didn't even know it was in there. Excellent. I bought canned mandarin oranges because I had a coupon. Now I will be buying them to make this quick and easy recipe. I used a food processor to crumb the butter into the dry ingredients and then poured that mixture into the wet ingredients. It was definitely pourable and not stiff. Thanks for a great recipe.

These were yummy. Great for left-over mandarins that you need to use (And I agree they are more like sweet muffins than doughnuts).

This was delicious I made it as a loaf of bread instead of muffins and my kids and I loved it! I am eager to try using other fruits such as dates or apricots although apples might also be good. This loaf was perfectly moist, not to sweet and I cooked it for about an hour or until a knife came out clean when inserted into the center.

I just made these and have to make a second batch. They are fantastic. I subsituted cinnamon for nutmeg in the dough recipe though, and used shortening because I didn't have enough butter left. Now that they are cool I have to say they taste better warm. This recipe is definately a keeper!

Loved these mini muffins and so did my kids! With one of our kids having a peanut allergy we don't get Tim Bits for treats. These taste very much like sour cream Tim Bits!! :) I may try adding different fruits and see what happens.

Fantastic recipe! easy to follow and great results. I would like to go into detail on how soft and melty they were but the truth is i only managed to get a half a cake as the family polished the whole lot off !! Will certainly be making them again.

We loved these. I followed the recipe exactly and would say that the "bites" are very much like donuts. We had them with a "breakfast" sausage dinner. I had to regulate the number of muffins each person could have. The recipe made about 40 mini muffins and the dough was pourable (not like a ball as another reviewer described).

Well these didn't taste at all like donuts to me. But they weren't bad as a muffin. They were not sweet at all making them good at breakfast time. The batter is not typical muffin batter. Before adding the oranges it was a very stiff ball like dough. adding the oranges it was sticky but not pourable like typical muffin batter. I had to reread the ingredients to make sure I didn't forget anything. Definately not my favorite recipe. Would I make them again....probably not.

They are simple to make and very tasty. We used fresh Mandarins because we had a ton of them. These get to be part of my weekend recipe list I think.

I made these and brought them into work. Everyone loved them and they disappeared in shorter time than it took to make them.
