I had a salad like this at a friend's party a year ago and was excited to find this. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite as good as hers. The dressing came out way too oily for my taste and tended to coat the leaves. Not sure if I did something wrong. Still a great recipe, though -- I just have to play with the dressing! The almonds are fantastic!!

Very very good salad. I would recommend having this with any meal. I will never make a plain salad again. Thanks for sharing this recipe. It's the same as what we use to get in a restaurant that has since closed.
