it seems although I followed the recipe to a T my cobbler looks completely different. The blackberries all stayed on top. No other reviews stated same issues......crossing my fingers that it tastes yummy...well sadly this did not turn out to be the case. I am a habitual recipe changer but this time I followed it exactly even though everything inside was saying no!! What went wrong? The mixture ended up being a doughy brick.

super easy, super yummy... perfect even the next day or a few days later just warmed up.. or even cold.. good with ice cream.. what a great treat!

not enough dough, will double the dough next time with same amount of blackberries. maybe a couple less tablespoons of butter as well

I doubled this recipe and it turned out great! I used fresh picked berries from my Dad's yard and they were so sweet that I only used about 1 1/2 cups of sugar. Will definitely be making this again!

This recipe is TOO EASY for something that turns out SO TASTY! It was great the 1st night served warm w/ my husband's homemade vanilla bean ice cream, and just as delicious the next day when I kept stealing bites of it cold from the frig! Thanks for the recipe...a true keeper!

After a looong day of picking berries this is by far the easiest cobbler recipe to throw together! This is so yummy, we have to pick enough to make two. They just don't last in our house!! I have 3 requests today to make cobbler and this recipe is the one I have used for years and years and people just LOVE it! Mouth watering yummy!

Ecellent recipe. Do not skimp on the butter, as it browns and creates a delicious crust on top. I also use this recipe for a peach cobbler.
