This is okay, but my recipe is better!I always make mashed potatoes this way: I scale it back to accommodate a smaller family and I omit the onion salt, and add about 2 to 3 teaspoons of celery salt and about a tablespoon of Dried onion flakes to 3 lbs of potatoes. Also use 1 8 oz pack of cream cheese and 1 cup of sour cream. Another hint to keep your potatoes smooth and creamy: After the potatoes are tender, turn off the heat and drain the potatoes, set the covered pot back on the stove for about 1 minute and then mash them, add the cream cheese and continue mashing with your mixer until completely incorporated. Add the sour cream, the onion flakes, and the celery salt and blend until completely mixed. These are the best mashed potatoes, ever
