I really didn't like this at all. I ate it bc I was hungry but it had a really bad after taste. My husband thought it was good, but we both agree that it did not taste good the next day. Maybe I am just not used to veggie bacon b/c it has a very strong flavor. Sorry but I will not make this again : (

I left out the dry mustard, added a couple more slices of bacon, halved the parsley, and sprinkled some bread crumbs on top. Definitely very creamy and one of the best mac and cheeses I've ever tasted! Maybe next time I'll try tossing in some veggies.

This recipe is great the way it is, I have made it a few times. I usually double the recipe for a larger group. I omit the bacon use both half & half and milk, I add smoked gouda as some users suggested. It turns out to be a classic mac & cheese so creamy and delicious!

I used real bacon and I used 1/2 cheddar and 1/2 smoked gouda like some other reviewers suggested. I almost made a half size dish since it was just for my son and me but I decided I might want leftovers so I made it full scale - that was a great decision b/c I KNOW I will want more tomorrow!

I made this for my family they thought it was good. I added ham instead of the veggie bacon and doubled the recipe. It is moist and cheesy but not too much cheese. It is creamy and easy to make. This will be my go to mac and cheese recipe.

This recipe is AWESOME! I had been looking for a good mac & cheese recipe that didn't call for Velveeta or bread crumbs, and this one is perfect. It was creamy and delicious. Instead of the bacon, I added grilled chicken and steamed broccoli. I will definitely be making this again.

Definitely the recipe I was looking for. Creamy and cheesy. I was using the one that adds cottage cheese, but this one tastes the way you expect mac and cheese to taste. The only thing I did differently was to use regular bacon. This is the recipe I'll go to when I'm craving mac and cheese.

The easiest and the best. I seriously thot i would ruin this meal, with it being my first cooked meal ever believe it or not, but it was so easy. It came out delicious. I added monterey jack cheese my fav.

I used this basic recipe, but omitted the veggie bacon and added mushrooms instead. I also halved the recipe and used 7 oz of smoked gouda and no cheddar. it was AWESOME. Next time, i'd like to try it with shrimp, bacon bits, and more mushroom.
