This is a traditional Filipino dish. It is the Filipino version of the egg rolls. It can be served as a side dish or as an appetizer.

A recipe I know all Filipinos are proud of! Lumpia (shanghai type) is a type of egg roll, except it's mainly filled with meat. You could use pork or beef or both! It's a yummy recipe and great to serve as finger food. I like to use both beef and pork but you can substitute one for the other. VERY EASY!

A simple recipe that the whole family can help with. Egg roll wrappers are stuffed with a mixture of meat and vegetables then fried to golden perfection in hot oil. Serve with a sweet and sour dipping sauce.

These tasty spring rolls are packed with vegetables, seafood and pork. They contain a lot of ingredients but are worth the effort. Serve them with your favorite sauce. Some types of mushrooms may need to be soaked 2 to 3 hours before use.

These are the best tasting egg rolls you'll ever have. They're even better than the one's served at the Asian restaurants. My family just loves them. What's even better is that you can use a variety of different meats -- ground beef, pork steak, seasoned ground pork sausage, precooked shrimp -- or prepare them without meat for the vegetarians.

An exciting blend of pork, vegetables and spices is sealed inside wrappers, then baked until crisp. Delicious and crunchy without deep frying!

Ukrainian Meat Filled Cabbage Rolls

In Ukrainian kitchens, cabbage leaves are often used as cases for soft fillings. These rolls are a little different, because the leaves are filled with a meat stuffing and not primarily a cereal mixture. This makes them 'holiday' fare. For a different flavor, use tomato juice instead of chicken broth.
