marinade was lovely and very tasty...however, the soy overpowered the pineapple...next time I will cut the soy and double the pineapple.

I USED SWEETENED PINEAPPLE JUICE, REGULAR SOY SAUCE,AND REGULAR VINEGAR. I DIDNT THINK THE RECIPE HAD ENOUGH FLAVOR TO IT. TASTES MORE BUTTERY THAN ANYTHING. I MARINATED FOR 30 HOURS AND STILL NOTHING SPECIAL. I MIGHT TRY AGAIN BUT ADDING SOME ROSEMARY LEAVES OR BASIL FOR EXTRA FLAVOR. I BROUGHT TO MY PARENTS HOUSE AND THEY ENJOYED THE LEFT OVER MEET. I ALSO USED STIP STEAK WHICH I PREFER TO MARINATE IN.

I made this steak for my husband and 4 kids tonight and it was a big hit! I didn't change a thing and it was perfect. Thanks for sharing this recipe Lorraine - definitely a keeper.
