All we tasted was the soy sauce in this recipe.

Okay so I didn't really measure anything, so I don't know how good this recipe really is... but the ingredients were a great marinade for a london broil! I added some worchestershire sauce, some lemon juice to break down the meat, more garlic cloves, and some McCormick salt-free steak seasoning; I was a little worried about the ketchup, but it only gave the meat a slight sweet tang. I think scoring the meat and adding lemon juice made a HUGE difference in the tenderness. I plan to thinly slice the leftover meat and pair with some au jus on crusty bread for a quick french dip. Thanks so much! We will make again -- I've already got another marinating in the freezer for an easy dinner next week. Great inexpensive steak dinner (especially when they're buy-one-get-one-free!)

After reading all these great reviews, I was expecting an AMAZING marinade...this was good, but didn't blow me out of the water. I did add a little lemon juice as per another review. The steak turned out nice and tender, but the taste was...eh. I had to add a lot of salt to the finished product to bring it up to my standards a little moe. :) I prefer the Southern Living recipe for London Broil marinade.

This recipe was pretty good. i didn't have any garlic so i just used a few teaspoons of garlic powder. i used the full recipe, even though i had half the meat but there still wasn't that much of the marinade left. I loved how it didn't take too much time or too many dishes to make.

LOVED IT!! The marniade was excellent. We are definitely keeping this one! Our cut of meat was a little tough so for the next time we will try a different cut. There are very few recipes I make more than once, this will be a regular at our home!

Thought it was good but not very tender (even with the lemon juice suggestion). However, I did not grill it - i broiled it for 25 min on 350. Perhaps I overcooked it because I needed a sauce with it. So I mixed some beef broth, red wine, butter and flour to make a dipping sauce. Will try again on the grill.

This is a great marinade because it's easy and delicious. I used the minced garlic in a jar to make it even easier. I only had time to marinate the steak for about 3 hours or so and it tasted great!

Very good flavor. I ended up having it marinate for over 2 days due to scheduling issue and it was a little salty. I would suggest definitely low sodium soy sauce. But the meat was very tender.

Yum, yum, yum!!! I would rate this more if I could. Thanks for the excellent recipe. We all enjoyed this recipe - even my 5, 3-1/2, and 2 year olds ate it with no complaints. I served theirs in taco shells and ours (hubby and I) with a salad. I marinated the London Broil for 9 hours and thought it was tender and really flavorful. My husband and I do not normally care for London Broil, but we love it now. I can't wait to make this again. A really enjoyable meal!!!

Fabulous flavor. I grilled it to med rare. Next time will make extra marinade and set aside. Warm and dip the thin sliced meat in before serving.

This marinade is a family favorite. It is best if the london broil is marinaded overnight. So simple and so great. We use this on chuck eyes too.
