For a quick and full-flavored dish, saute garlic in a mixture of butter and the rich oil from sun-dried tomatoes, then add the tomatoes and lots of fresh shrimp. Serve this heady mixture over angel hair pasta cooked with broccoli florets.

Bold flavors in a very light sauce: substantial and satisfying, good warm-weather alternative to spaghetti bolognese. You might think the sauce too thin the first time you make it (almost a thick broth), but it will be full of flavor. Quantities of tuna, sun-dried tomato, and artichoke are variable to preference, just be sure to provide an overall robust combination, always mindful of potential saltiness (esp. regarding the sun-dried tomatoes). Also, fresh oregano or lemon thyme could be substituted for thyme. This should go without saying: please don't put any cheese on this pasta.

A colorful sauce of red and green bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, parsley, onions and garlic is enriched with flour and milk, and flavored with shrimp, scallops and crabmeat. Enjoy this luscious sauce over hot linguini.

'This garlic and basil pasta recipe is a wonderful way to use your bounty of late-summer tomatoes,' suggests Susan Jones of Downers Grove, Illinois. 'Ideal as a side dish for grilled chicken, it also makes a great light supper when coupled with a salad and breadsticks.'

This is my own special recipe. The most requested dinner when friends and family come to visit from all over the country. It's so easy and trust me...I hate capers, but they add just the right flavor. If you really don't like capers, put them in a empty tea bag, fasten with a twist tie and throw it away before serving, but trust me I've had no complaints! This is a perfect dinner to entertain with or just for a romantic night for two. Suggestion: Have a nice but simple spinach salad and a good gourmet Italian bread with it.

This is a super fast and easy recipe. One of my favorites. Linguine is tossed with a buttery clam and mushroom sauce. Fettuccine can also be used. Tastes even better with fresh baked rolls or French bread and a garden salad.

Chopped clams and mushrooms simmered in white wine and butter with garlic and a touch of sour cream. Tossed with linguine pasta and served with a side salad and French bread, you'll have yourself a meal to remember!

Mushroom, onion, and garlic make a great base for this creamy pasta sauce, but it gets even better with the addition of sliced ham and a touch of basil!

My husband begs me to make this dish. It is a surprisingly great mixture of flavors. You'll love it! Feel free to tailor the ingredient amounts to your taste. This is how we like it, but it is quite flexible.
