My 1st time making lasagna & it got rave reviews from everyone! I used 1/2 lb ground turkey & 1/2 lb of spicy sausage instead and followed everyone's suggestion to use ricotta cheese. So delicious!!! Everyone said it was the perfect amount of seasoning & flavor.

I had my doubts because it was so simple to make but trust me.. this is a "Keeper" recipe. My husband who is picky absolutely loved this. I did add some spinach and zucchini and use the Parmesan/Romano cheese.. Loved it

Yummy. I followed the recipe to a "t" and really really liked it. I also tried it with ground turkey and it was still delicious.

Amazing. I added mushrooms, but left everything else the same. Very yummy and not too difficult (but, like most lasagnas, a bit time intensive).

This was a good lasagna. It didn't quite beat out the usual recipe, but I wanted to try another, so this was it. It was good. The sauce was decent, the lasagna was cheesy, and the instructions were easy to follow. However, it was not quite up there with the one we usually use (World's Best Lasagna from this site). This one is good, however, so I recommend it. Thanks for posting!

Delicious! The only change we make is instead of using cottage cheese we use ricotta cheese. We made it many times and turns out wonderful all the time! A great dish to make on Sunday to have as a meal during the week!

Just the recipe I was looking for. Only alterations were I added mushrooms, green pepper and celery all finely chopped. I also used cheddar instead of mozzarella as I didn't have any. Will make a point of buying some mozzarella next time though.

Really good, I followed the recipe except that I cooked the onion with the ground beef (less dishes) and I added fresh garlic instead of garlic powder. I used cottage cheese like the recipe called for and I mixed it with the parmesean and egg with an emersion blender. It took away any chunkyness associated with the cottage cheese. Really good. A hit with my husband!

This recipe was fantastic! I made a double batch - one 9x13 pan and two 9x9 pans. Froze one of the 9x9's and it was fantastic out of the freezer too. The other two were in the refrigerator the night before and cooked up perfectly. I used the cottage cheese, per other reviews. The sauce in this is the best ever. And the different way of layering the ingredients makes for a nice lasagna. This was the first time I made a simple dish - and received SO many compliments.

Another 5-star review ! I made this lasagne with home-made pasta, a simple white sauce and a mix of cheddar and parmesan for the cheese. It was excellent. Also kept well in the fridge for 5 days.

I am not sure about the cottage cheese layer, but the sauce is to die for! All in all delicious lasagna. I didn't use boil noodles, but oven ready wheat pasta. I also subbed ground turkey which was really good.

Excellent! I am coming off a popular diet that helped me lose 27 lbs, and I needed a healthy lasagna recipe. I used whole wheat noodles, ricotta instead of cottage cheese, Italian flavored turkey sausage, and low fat mozarella. I halved the cheese. I used the slow cooker idea from another reviewer for the sauce. FANTASTIC. My husband was thrilled. He never takes left-overs to work, but a big chunk was missing from the left-overs this morning. This one is a keeper!
